Here's the collapse we know and love this season. Robidas takes himself out of the play and his man ends up getting lose and scoring.

There are bigger things to worry about than an October record. This team sucks big hairy ones in their own end and can't hold onto the puck in the other.

Hello, another goal. Nice one you freaking waste of space D.

I'm done being patient. I say make some trades now and wake up this piece of trash this instance.

Let's see what Modano can do with Neal and Brunnstrom.
Neal hasn't been very good tonight at all. He's one of the guys struggling the most with turnovers, and he's getting knocked off the puck pretty easily.

Hello Ott.

If you're making trades, you have to start with the young D-men. They're where the problems have been the most evident this season.

Unless you're feeling like moving so-called "core" forwards. I don't think you can afford to move Daley, Robidas or Boucher at this point, who've all been at least decent in their own end.

Neal depends on Modano. Brunnstrom depends on Richards. One is out tonight and the other is struggling.

Can someone please explain what happened to Richards? It's been asked several times in this thread and no one knows or is answering.

"Lower body injury" = anything from a sprain to leprosy.

Well, you can chalk up a couple more losses on the road.

Why can't Tippett light a fire under these smucks?

I don't think it's lighting a fire or lack of effort. I think they've gotten to the point where they're all over-trying. The forwards are getting caught up in the zone because of overpursuit.

Ribeiro tried to do too much instead of chip it in. Robidas tried to make the big play instead of the simple one. Fistric thought himself right out of his play.

I think Zubov coming back should (oh please oh please) fix many of the problems that ail them, just cause he's so damn calm and it rubs off on everyone.

Bad joke coming so if you don't want to read it you were warned.

Why don't lepers play hockey?

Too many "face-offs"

I know, I know terrible but it kind of reflects the night

I actually thought Neal was doing well, fighting and trying to get the puck back, but he just can't keep it.

Ott is awesome. And yappy.

Stephan has been doing well, Chicago is the master of the 2/3-1 break, and with our pathetic defense, we've been getting shot full of holes.

Grossman looks like he had his heard in the game, thankfully. Niskanen.... no. Morrow looked a little slow, Ribeiro needs to shoot more. SHOOT MORE DAMMIT, SHOOOOOOOOOOOT!

We aren't used to getting obliterated like this.

Problem is, a quick fix would hurt us in the long run. Not sure if waiting is the answer, but we definitely have a void to fill now.

It's the lack of concentration that irks me. The Stars are making a defensemen change and Ribeiro has the puck. There's someone in front of him. He can do two things, either hold up at the line or dump it in. What does he do? Basically hands the puck directly to the Hawk and they go on an odd man rush and score. Overpursuit and poor coverage are on the coaches after 11 games of straight crap. If this team needs to nurse a lead to get a win, then they'll lose many games this season and do nothing in the postseason.

The special teams also suck.

Just got back from the game, I have a few observations:

1. Niskanen looked terrible, I don't understand the problem. It seems like a confidence issue but did we overrate him when he played with Zubov.

2. Connor, I know in the other thread I said I didn't mind him but I have decided that he adds nothing to this team and is a career AHLer

3. Petersen, I know he wasn't brought in to score but will he ever. It seems no matter the chance it just won't go in. Permanently snakebitten

Just a couple things

I am a Hawks fan but you could tell how mad Avery was making us I thought it was really funny when Burish tried to fight him and he acted like he didn't do anything... classic!

Also, him delaying the Hawks' salute to the crowd was vintage Avery as well... this could be a good rivalry this season, good luck!
