The Habs should lower their heads in shame, for those awful first two periods.
...and then hold them high for that wonderful comeback in the 3rd.

Sore necks all around.

And all that good momentum killed by a five-day break.

Kovy sucked in the first 2 periods but was awesome in the third.

Higgins played very well too and got back his place on Koivu's line

And finally Andrei is back! What a play.

I missed the first two periods because of work, but from what I hear, the third was the only one that mattered.

We just killed the Islanders. They will NEVER recover from that this season.

They were 20 minutes away from beating a top 5 team in the league, leading by 3 goals into the 3rd with their 3rd goalie in. This would have given them a lot of confidence.

We played one period and still won. Amazing.

Streit got a good night, Habs won. I'm satisfied.

They're simply surprising AND amazing. Winning even when they had a 3 goals deficit in the LAST period.

Epic ****ing win. Poor Islanders. 85% of the arena was filled with Habs fans and you just lost a game like that. ROFL.

I made it all happen, guys.
In the middle of the second intermission, I decided I wanted to eat some clementines. It took me for-freaking-ever to peel them properly (I try to take off as much of the skin as possible).

When I got back to my room with my plate, I didn't even have time to sit down before Pleks scored his first goal.
The rest is history.

Habs need to learn how to play a full 60 minute game.

I know most won't care, but I do feel for Danis. Just 20 minutes ago, he was beating his old team with a really good performance. Now he lost big time in the 3rd and maybe really losing his chance to be a backup this year....

BUT WE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Better still, some people said they wouldn't come back if the Habs did. Adios chicken littles (not that I expect them to honour their promises)

Turning Point is not even a goal.

Its Kovy getting the high stick and no call.

The next shifts for that line = goals.

It was the same move that he did on Mike Green vs Washington, except this time he didn't go right through the guy. Beauty move

As much of a high it is to comeback like that, there should still be concern over the first 40 minutes. That was some terrible terrible hockey.

However its very nice to see Pleks get the monkey off his back and Higgins get his first. Kovalev redeemed himself after a terrible first two periods as did Price.

After that comeback against the Rangers last year down 5-0 to win 6-5 in a shootout I never lost hope. What a team is all I can see. Wow!
