So.. i guess the 4-1 lead was a handicap habs gave the 30th place team .. so i guess in the locker after the 2nd Carbo was saying: "Guys, acting's over, time to start the game."

ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF: 8 free chicken wings for the next 5 days!!

I am so glad for Plekanec and Kovalev. They finally exploded.

A loss against the worst team with 5 days off would had been very frustrating and demoralizing.

All I can say....Koivu and Higgins were total BEASTS out there. Many got sent back to schoolin' by those 2 in the 3rd.

Wow. My team sucks. Your team is terrific.

Oh, and good call on letting Danis walk, now I know the reason why he hasn't stuck in the NHL.

We'll take it but we can't be happy about it. Hopefully we start showing up for the first period next game.

Long break ahead, good things we started playing hockey in the 3rd. Big game for the Kovalev line, hope of things to come.

after the second I cursed every player on the ice then said to myself....."self"......we are off to a great start this season so relax.

Then they come back in the 3rd & make it easy to eat some crow.

great work boys.

**** off merging thread.

For so long I've seen the Habs playing good for a good chunk of the game leading 3-1 after the first against the Sens or something to see Alfie scoring 2 early in the 2rd and ending up losing 5-3. Being upset cause we played good for 2 period shutting down the best line in the league to end up not getting any point. I'm really happy we finally turned the corner and are now the team that only has to play 20 minutes and still win a game in regulation.

I know we shouldnt be too confident and let the other team run away with the game thinking we'll always come back, but it's nice to see that we've got what it takes to do it. I dont want to see the habs doing it every game, but once in a while if it can brings us 2 points I'll be more then happy. After the 2nd i was as confident as if it was tie against an average Isles team, i just couldnt see how we would lose this game even tho we were playing awful and were down 3 goals.

After being so awful for so long it just makes it even better. When you spent 10 years or so watching the habs not making the playoff or finishing 8th to miss the following year and all. It's just so great to be able to watch a team that can bea just about any team in the league and that has the skills to come back like they did tonight it's just awesome!

About time!
