Unreal comeback!

I know it's early but Markov is playing like a Norris Trophy calibre defenseman.

Good job Montreal.
It sucks for the Islanders though. I mean, when the **** are they gonna get a new management and really rebuild this organization for the years to come. They could have gotten a franchise D-man last draft and they traded down, hopefully this year they get Hedman or Tavares FFS.

Agreed, we can rejoice all we want but WTF was that it the first two periods...it was awful and its happening frequently that we just suck in a period or part of the game...remember last saturday.

No, he isn't useless. He's what he is: A third goalie. You need one of those because if you don't and you need him, then you end up doing like the Kings had to do a few years back and have to go very very far (*** Japan) to get an emergency goalie.

If you expect him to start games in the NHL, you will be dissapointed. He's a regular backup on a weak team at best.

Good win, but it was the Islanders. I'm hoping that they don't get it in their heads that they can show up halfway through the third period every night and still win.

The only sports game I have seen that compared to this was that Monday Night Football game in 2006 between the Bears and Cardinals (the ''Bears are who we thought they were! And we let 'em off the hook! If you want to crown 'em, then crown their *****...'' game)

It was just one very good team getting completely outplayed/embarassed for the vast majority of the game by a vastly inferior opponent with tons of fans from the visiting team in the building.

All it took was one play/goal for the inferior team to just collapse and the better team to completely take over and steal the win in ridiculous fashion. As soon as Pleks scored that 2nd goal, I had a feeling it was gonna happen and after that 3rd goal, I had zero doubt we were gonna win it.

This team has quite a legacy of comebacks building...

Danis is not a great goalie (he was bad in the AHL last year) but he isnt to blame for the loss...

3rd period: NY:4 shots MTL:16shots

The team just has organizational cancer.

From the ownership, to the GM, to the coach, to the assistants, to the players except Streit, DiPietro and Okposo....

They need new ownership, and an effective 10 years rebuilding like we had to rebuild the whole damn thing.

Find an owner that's worth a damn and put it in the hands of Islanders alumni. Potvin as GM, Goring as coach, Trottier, Bossy and Smith as assistants. Then see the team rise.

Because right now, All the names I've mentionned, and Al Arbour, and Bill Torrey, and Pierre Turgeon, they are all FAR FAR away from what the team is now. This team is about as relevant as the Predators at this time, and this is sad to me.
