Sigh, Lanny you're so smug.

Fun Fact: Since the first Goal has now been credited to Nystrom it means Primeau is the only Flame (Forward) without a Goal.

....and I thought the Flames didn't have secondary scoring?

Okay why would Vandermeer get a 10 minute misconduct?

Bad period by the flames. Undisciplined and if they continue playing like this they won't have the lead for long. 4th line and Kipper have been fantastic. The other lines need to step up in the third. Hopefully they can kill this penalty to begin the period and start getting on the forecheck again.

Well they're hanging on to the lead and look good even strength but the PK looks bagged and Sarich is putting me on coronary alert every time he gets the puck and sometimes even when he doesn't have it.

Not a good period at all. Standing around, bad penalties and more giveaways. If not for the glory that is our goaltending it wouldn't still be a one goal lead for the good guys at the end of the second. Miikka was so very stellar again, that even the goal for the Kings can't be blamed on him.

The PK was mostly very good with the one exception of Dion's skate putting in the King's goal. The PP on the other hand was Cold/Hot. As in the first PP was atrocious and the second one was pretty good. And as I have mentioned when you carry the puck in look what happends. You get set up and score a PP goal!!

Again I love to tout this guy, and Primeau certainly deserves it. Every time his line was out you knew he was there. Such effort and determination. If only the entire team was playing the way he's playing it would not be a one goal contest!! And Vandy did NOT deserve an extra 10 minutes at the end of the period. Hell that hit wasn't even late. Stupid zebras.

Yep that 4th line has been our best for sure. Prust has been really good too.

Primeau has been pretty good too but I'm trying to visualize Roman Turek in net tonight and thinking it would be about 5-2. OT - anybody know if Turek continued playing somewhere back home or just retired and hit the links?
