Why is Orr Playing !

The Leafs have no bone heads on their team so why is our bone head playing ?
God he is bad. The Leafs were skating circles around him like he is a human pylon.
Prucha, a 30 goal scorer, sits while the worst hockey player in the league gets
9+ minutes of ice time, six shifts in the third when we need scoring. The trend in the NHL is to use smaller tough guys that can actually play hockey. Send him to Hartford and bring up one of the kids that were drafted for this purpose.

I would rather keep Orr in and throw Prucha in for Fritsche/Dawes. No point putting Prucha in on fourth line. If he's gonna get a chance, get a real chance.

I used to feel this way but now I have no problem, the 4th line was the most consistent line last night. The question should be why is Fritsche playing?

Fourth line played better than any other line last night. Poor time to bring up this nonsense again.

The 4th line is the last thing that should be criticized for last night.

But why is Orr playing ? Detroit is the team destined to win multiple cups in the next few years. They do not have a bone head. Why do we ?

Hollweg might be the BIGGEST bonehead in the NHL.

Go buy a Red Wings jersey and start cheering for them then..Orr is the least of this teams problems, which by the way are few--um best record in Hockey? Go Colton.

Incase you haven't noticed, Colton Orr has been one of the most steady players on the team, which says a lot compared to last year. His skating is better, he makes smarter plays, hits and drops the gloves. not to mention he goes hard every time he is on the ice.

More then you can say about some others on this team right now.

Amen to that. Especially over Prucha.

The 4th line has been brilliant so far and i think the improvement in Orr has been great, he deserves to be playing thats why he is out there.

the Sjostrom ,Betts,Orr line has done their job all yr so I am cool with him playing...........does'nt hurt to have a enforcer in each game and he does'nt hurt the team as he skates pretty well

These threads are terrible. One really tough loss and two groups emerge: the critics and the fairweather fans. The critics come out of the woodwork with these idiotic threads, and the fairweather fans throw in the towel in NOVEMBER and act like the season is lost. Please. The entire team was terrible in the third period yesterday and the team EFFORT in general has been awful the past few games. It happens. Thank GOD it's only November, right?

Typical HF post-meltdown reaction. Blame the player least relevant to the situation. Orr has been great thus far. He should be proud of how far his game has come. He actually gets and creates offensive chances.

1. The 4th line was our best line out there last night.
2. Orr has gotten 10x better since last year.
3. Orr played extremely well last night. Even drew a penalty.

This thread stinks.

So Prucha is off, but players such as Dawes, Fritsche and Drury get a free ride? They can play more games, looks worse, do less but still played over Prucha? I'm sure his 4-5 games on different lines each time really gave him a chance to get started. Where as we have Dawes with our best playmaker, and he can't even hit the net, let alone the back of it.

The hate some people have for Prucha here is amazing sometimes.

And the fourth line has been the most consistent line this season so far (with-in their role that is, which is not scoring).
