"I have nothing to say about Mats Sundin," Habs head coach Guy Carbonneau snapped. "If he wants to take a physical or whatever, I don't care."

-----------------------------------------------
"I think we've sort of moved on from that whole situation," Komisarek said. "We already have some great additions with [Alex] Tanguay, [Robert] Lang, and Georges [Laraque]. Bob has done a great job putting the pieces of the puzzle together here and we're really happy with the team we have."

I honestly thought you were just attempting to make sarcastic comment.

Havent you noticed Lang is among our leading goalscorers, along with Koivu and Tanguay? That playing so called 3rd line. And one of those is game winner, even.

Of course I'd rather have Sundin, but were are going to do pretty well with Lang too.

He's been invisible on the ice so far other than game 1....every time he's on the ice i have a new player to swear at
and now this...no cap space for Sundin....(and yes i realise we would need to clear more than Lang's contract...but we would still need to clear 4 million less than now)

You should probably watch the games, it's been a good season so far.

and overpayment? a 2nd round we got from grabovski?

Ask any Chicago fan if they think it is an overpayment.

Tsn & Habs & Sundin!!!!!!

Gotta Love It!!!!!

TSN is floating the concept that the Habs will sign Sundin and eat salaries by sending guys to Hamilton

As unrealistic as it may sound, it actually makles sense

doc hock

Oh lord. You really are twisting words there to make it sound like it's a big story when it isn't.

I saw it earlier and it was basically only Dreger saying that the Habs may still be interested and he wondered if the Habs would be willing to eat salaries in Hamilton to make cap room. There's no real ''news''.

Sundin, Gillis talk at Canucks' game at Staples Center

The unrestricted free agent centre was in attendance at the Staples Center to watch the Vancouver Canucks shut out the Los Angeles Kings 4-0.

Sundin, who watched the game from a luxury suite with his agent JP Barry, was also joined by Canucks general manager Mike Gillis. He has a two-year, $20 million offer on the table from the Canucks but Gillis prefer not to put any pressure on the former Leafs' captain.

rumour ; Sundin again !

http://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog/Eklun...rt-536/1/17653

Eklund ; "Mats is hungry to win a cup. plain and simple. That alone has driven him to getting into phenomenal shape through his workouts. He is telling everyone that two teams are impressing him. Montreal and Toronto, but of course the Cup is not likely going to end up in Toronto."

So at the end , it will be ;

Kovalchuk Sundin Higgins
Akos Plekanec Kovalev
Tanguay Koivu Latendresse
Kostopoulos Lang Skost

Gaborik ( injured ) , Laraque

Kovalchuk was obtained by trading the very promising Lapierre + Dandeneault + Bégin + Korneev + Valentenko

I smell the Cup in Montreal !
