I can see him becoming the Gainey type

I agree... Kirk will make a great Head coach one day.

lol ... no way in hell ... a norris candidate, but a nhl coach/gm... never. I just doubt it appeals to him... and he's having a hard time socializing... which is an important part of being a gm ... but we never know, interesting choice...

I really see plekanec, hamrlik .... denis (strong gut feeling) and bouillon, for some reason.

If you ask Charles Wang, Halak could probably be a decent GM...right now

As for GM, I'm going to throw out one name....Carey Price.

I was thinking the same thing. He's calm and patient like Gainey is, he also seems to have wits.

And God knows Vancouver need a good GM

He's cerebral... first quality you want in a good and efficient GM

Yup...that was my thinking as well.

Well he can be GM in Montreal, cause Gainey is here for at around another 10-15 years, then Trevor Timmins will be the next habs GM for 10-15 years...so 20 to 30years from now, Montreal will be looking for a new GM.

Coach? REALLY? I'd say owner of the NHL.
