In my fantasy league, I was really happy to select Jonathan Toews in the fourth round (totally love the guy, he's such a monster). But you're all aware of his really slow start.
I have a question for you, because i'm from the east coast and I haven't seen a Hawks game this year: is he playing really bad, or he is just not picking up points?
We had a situation in Montreal were Tomas Plekanec had just 3 points in 9 games before "exploding" with 4 points last game. Plekanec was playing really well but he just wasn't burying his chances. Is this the same for Toews, do you think he will "explode" soon?
Thanks for your answers guys.
And by the way, good luck for the season. I absolutly love your team, with such monster as Kane, Toews and Havlat, and being a Habs fan, I will always have a soft spot for Huet who did great in his stint with the Habs. I'm sure your team is on the right track and could make postseason this year.
He's not getting the bounces as of now and looks snakebit but he is still playing well. He is still creating a lot of chances but just isn't converting, oddly however he is 3 for 3 in the shootout this year.
I'm not a Hawks fan, but I live in Chicago so I watch Hawks games as much as I can...
Toews is playing great. A lot of times he's the hardest worker on the ice for the Blackhawks. As said above, he's just not getting the bounces to go his way. It's still early, and the pressure of being captain might be getting to him a bit. I expect him to have a good season in the end.
