JUST WOW!

After 7-0, I was sure it was over so I switched to Sportscenter & 110% ().
I went back to check and it was 7-6 when COCO CRISP tied it!

Biggest comeback in 80 years!

Amazing!
the redsox find a way to keep coming back the past 4-5 postseasons

Carey has quite a task ahead of him to keep his crown as the best Price in sports over the next few years. Holy cow, David Price is awesome. What a performance to close out the ALCS!

Belated.. Congrats to the Phillies. Pains me to remember when Montreal was a Major League City & Drives me to make us one again...

In the end I went for the Phillies, reminded me of the days of beer swilling John Kruk taking on the hated Jays in 93... & who could forget the wild thing Mitch Williams... :-) just #99 Mitchy...

Just in case there is a die hard here, Matt Stairs sold me on going for the NL team. He Stairs reminds me of a more politcally correct beer swilling ball player, Stairs is from Canada, we can still have a Molson musle & be classy about it(Very Canadian)....LOL Nice homerum by Matt Vs Dodgers for sure, Matt sais in a recent interview that he will play for Canada in the upcoming baseball Classic....awesome...

The Simpsons writers are Canadian & from Toronto, comedy is fine but losing a MLB team isin't funny...see it makes us a joke in North Amerca, only way to get pride back is to get our team back...Remember that because we will be back in like 15 years...

I was watching last night and almost cried a little at that. My wife said to me "was that what I think that was?" At least now the Expos live-on forever in cartoon history....

Bring back the Expos.

There is no joke...Montreal is the first Professional City to have a Black guy play for them/us in jackie Robinson, also the first Canadian team to be in the Majors, it's our sport equal to hockey,,,we will get it back....But we must believe!!!!

We are members of the National League, we always were & we will be again...We are a part of the National League... Please Don't ever forget that... if you do google our stats ... The Montreal Expos are the most winningest team of the 80's...huge...

Sorry for the double threads Beak, I'll learn to edit rather than double in the furure....clean this & up it, thx Rich...Thx for keeping this thread alive, we will need it in the future...R

I sure miss my Expos, I miss baseball overall. I had shoulder trouble that forced me to retire from baseball but latelly I've been feeling no pain. During my prime I could hit the home plate with my foot touching the left field wall at my local ball park (a distance of more than 300 feet). I might start light training soon and maybe this summer I will tryout for a mens league. I miss those early mornings waking up to the fog and the light water on the freshly cut baseball grass.

No idea, unless they mean to bring back the Expos and put them in a Canadian city. Other than that

Would Montreal be the only team in this league? Sounds cozy

Relax, I'm sure the writers weren't doing it to rile up people from Montreal, just to get people talking about the Expos again. They're the first professional franchise I ever followed, and I didn't take the 99 cent bin thing as malicious at all. It would have been no different if Bart had pulled a Winnipeg Jets jersey out of there... which could have easily happened since there is at least one writer on that show from Winnipeg. Our city's been a Simpsons joke multiple times, been mentioned on Futurama, and will be on The Office soon. It's all in good fun. I enjoy it!

I do agree with you that the Expos need to be resurrected. MLB totally destroyed that franchise. The fans only stopped going once the league started screwing them over. Fix their mistakes, and everyone should be happy. Fans have a team back and more $$ for the league.

I remember the Canadian Baseball League, I think I even watched a game on theScore. .

Like 5 years ago some former MLB person wanted to make a league like the CFL. Lets just say it failed like the XFL.
