Never really heard Soilwork before, from some of the responses I was picturing something much more on the xbrootalx side.

Anyways, sick video and the song wasn't bad either.

yeah, all that technical prowess and such.

So what are you then, an emo clown? A wannabe hipster jamming to Kanye? One of those ironic sorts who's about 27 but listens to Johnny Cash to be "true"?

You dont have to like it, but being insulting is a *******'s move.

The fact is Scandinavian (+finnish) melodic death metal is the best music genre there is. It's also a fact that Soilwork is among the best melo death bands and their vocalist is made of pure victory.

I can't believe some of you guys are listening garbage like megadeath and metallica and then come here and diss the greatness of Soilwork. Very disrespectfull and idiotic behaviour.

Disturbed is metalcore *****. Don't mention them in the same sentence with Soilwork.

Dude, Kalmah? That's awesome. I was just listening to them last night as a matter of fact. Today my CD player consisted of The Haunted and The Defaced.

HAHA, "vitun apina", that's awe-some.
And what comes to their music; I like the older - death metallish - production quite alot. Not too into their newer stuff though...

Sorry for the OT I'll leave you guys alone now.

I'm pretty positive it can. Like all melodic black/death metal (whatever the hell its categorized as these days) I enjoy it until the growling starts. Sorry fellas, I'm glad yas dig it, but it just makes me laugh. It's impossible for me to take it seriously. Yet I'm a fan of screamers ala Devin Townsend. Go figure...

However, there's a band who uses this vocal style (well more like an angry whispery kind of thing) called Agalloch that I think are fantastic.

Now I'm going to look at my John Mayer poster on the ceiling and watch Loffen's video again...
