You do realize that a Mcfarlane figure spells the end of a goalie's tenure in Montreal? Say adios to Cristobal: you can't fight fate.

As for the figures, I have well over a hundred of them. My prized figures are the home and away Habs Roy figs and the 12 inch Roy Habs figure. My sentimental favourites are the Hansen Brothers and Theo with toque..

i never yunderstood why mcfarlane waites so long for the rocket
i had sent so many emails to the company (pretty sure all unread) about it as i
m a big collector of the figurines. He's made guys like Ryder, mahavolich, koivu huet, theodore, kovalev even tony esposito ALL ahead of the rocket

and then there are so many questionable ones in his legends series...

only problem now is i'm running out of space

I have a pretty good collection of McFarlane's and yes I was surprised it took so long to get Richard done. Can't wait for Killer either!!

LOL same problem here. I had 6 unopened packages i was trying to figure out what i was going to do with. I do it for display purposes and dont intend on re-selling them so i do open the packages to display them.

I ended up taking down some of my horror figures last night. I was starting to collect too much stuff anyways. I'm down to just Habs Figures and limit my horror figure to my favorites only

I've been waiting for a while to get my two Roy figures up (normal & variant) since i won them in an auction months ago lol

i think the only one i'm missing at this point is series 1 theodore

Without the number 9 it would be hard to recognize him in that figurine.

It really looks more like Roy Dupuis than Maurice Richard.

Dupuis in his Rocket character and the Rocket are actually really alike.

This is Younger Rocket.

Most of us have only seen Old Rocket and young Rocket through Roy Dupuis so we make that link easily.

LOL I took a look at Yvan Cournoyer's figure. Looks like a Heath Ledger Cournoyer. Shanahan looks like Keanu Reeves. Is Mcfarlanes borrowing actors faces?

i finally got Huet and Esposito out of their boxes last night...and everything is up on display now

i noticed the net is not with the figure....McFarlane toys is cheapening out since all goaltenders used to included a net before

As well the figures had a backing and a sheet that includes all figures of the current series. Instead of that now the backing is the sheet that includes all figures of the current series...

what a bunch of cheap ***

i hate crap like this...it means the only way to get the figure is:

a) Drive to Montreal that weekend to buy one
b) Pay an arm and a leg online

edit: LOL i just noticed its the all-star weekend. i was going to find an excuse to go see a game that weekend....no way thats going to happen now. tickets are going to cost more than a simple "arm and a leg"

30$??? wow.. they were selling at 2$ at my local zellers not long after the trade to Colorado. They had maybe a hundred of those figures in boxes and they were trying to get rid of it, without much success.

Gee, that was a while ago. The Theo from series 1 (not the one with his arms over his head) is going for about $50 on ebay now.

I just re-read the top post on this page. I made that on the 16th of October last year. Does it mean Saku's days in Montreal are numbered?? Not anytime soon I hope..

Very clever, using his him in his trademark intense stare + faceoff crouch position.

When they do another Kovalev, they need to do one with the puck on his stick blade in the air as if he was doing that juggle of is.

Or have him helmetless with a cut somewhere on his face.
