Comparisons to last year's Senators are dumb. The Habs actually have scoring depth and goaltenders that are getting better with each game. Sens had one line, an idiot goaltender and one that has been inconsistent his entire career. These guys seem close-knit, Gainey got rid of the idiots and their vets are hungry.

Wow, that was terrible. Even I must admit that our record right now is a little deceiving but wow, there are so many flaws in what he's saying I don't even know where to start.

He's wrong on almost all count. And the comparison with last year's Sens is already getting old.

the only aspect of the article i agree with is that our defensive corps is too defensive
other than markov and sometimes hamrlik, the d has trouble moving the puck out of the zone

When I saw his first piece of evidence was "Remember last years Sens?" *Closes window and walks away*

Waste of time.

So far this season what I have noticed is even when the team is struggling to gel they are still 8-1-1 after 10 games. Definitely headed in the right direction.

Does this individual know hockey? I stopped reading after "the sens had internal problems" and "the sens have 3 100 point players"

Does he realize that hockey is a TEAM sport, and if you have internal problems, ie TEAM problems, you are going to be in trouble. I also didn't realize the NHL adopted pond hockey rules, where only 3 players play the whole game.

If I was THN, I would consider putting this guy back to updating the stats page.

Clearly a bitter closet Bruins fan that has no knowledge of the game. He's basically saying every one doing good (whole team basically) will slump as his crystal ball tells him so.

Dirt poor journalism desperate for hits. The editor of this website should be ashamed for even allowing something like this to be posted. He's got no basis other than a comparison with last years Sens start which is completely ridiculous.

he mentions that the Habs have the least experienced goaltending duo, but totally ignores the fact they have the most talented duo.

So its bad to have Markov being a good defensive guys, its bad to see Tanguay score even if hes a passer, its bad to have Carey Price because hes young, its bad to have Kovalev because we dont know what to expect about him, its bad to have a 8-1-1 because OTT had a meltdown, its bad because Plek only has 7 pts so far when Datsyuk has 12 pts with 2 more games, its bad that our defenseman are defensive etc etc...

What a loser. Habs hater he is. We are 8-1-1 and havent played a really good game yet. Thats how good we are.

Please don't call it journalism. Somebody giving an idiot closet Bruins fan a soapboax is what it is.

Did THN need writers that badly that they grabbed this guy off a downtown Boston street?

For now, we have 17 points in 20 games.
Most interesting: Offense seems to come from everywhere... Game after game a line picks up (isn't it the goal).
Defense is good and getting better and our goalies are good.
Only problem: too may shots on goal.

We can review this in 20 or 30 games.
I hope not, then we'd be the Senators

What a poor read.
My diagnosis: author is a jealous Sens/Leafs fan.
