I honestly believe we have the best GDT's, and that's saying something. Great job MSE

Also, I love this picture, it's hilarious. The reaction of everyone looking (Gauthier? included) is priceless.

Neil looks like Donkey Kong falling to his demise.

Denis Gauthier is correct -- game in London, Ontario, September 18, 2007.

Also, an update on Nodl:
Quote:

Meanwhile, Phantoms captain Boyd Kane will start on right wing on a line with Jeff Carter and Scottie Upshall. Kane gets the nod because Andreas Nodl is dealing with tightness in his groin. Nodl was on the ice for the first time with the team after a cortisone injection, but is still a couple days away. He is anticipating a Saturday return ...

Ah thats unfortunate about Nodl. Hope Kane can play some energized yet responsible hockey tonight.

(Times like these I wish we had managed to keep Thor)

Edit:

That Clarke story about giving advice on the Faceoff is pretty neat. I wish I could have seen Clarkie talking to the boys. "You gotta want it more!"

I hate to compare Clarkie to another famous Philadelphian legend...but this comes to mind

Wow, great GDT MSE!

From an Ottawa fan's perspective, it's extremely informative, and great content for both teams! Excellent job!

I'd rather see Asham on Carter's line. Heck - I'd rather see just about anybody but Kane on Carter's line.

Do you have one of these saved for every team MSE, and just update them after every game? It's impressive...

Yes and thanks. The history section is something I did over time. But much of the other stuff is found on the 'Net and added to the template I created.

Upshall - Carter - Kane.

Can't say I've seen him play. What does Boyd bring to the table?

It's too bad McGrattan doesn't play for the Sens anymore. I'm gonna miss him.

With that defense and Boyd Kane, I'm betting it's a long night for Niittymaki.
