19 shots in one period by the habs?

Exactly! I don't buy it... I want us to play FAR better in the next two periods. Are we looking at 30 shots in the 2nd?

I'm really starting to wonder if Tanguay can pot 35 this year playing with a pass-first player for the first time of his career.

Good period for the Habs after that long layoff, would like to see a few the Habs start trying to pick the corners, too many of the shots were right into the chest of Mason.

1-1 end of first.

4th line is flying out there right now, they have been our best forwards on EV. Markov looks more unreal than usual tonight, he is a freaking beast.

There's your 4th line, folks. If Begin or Dandenault play tomorrow I'm going to cry.

And gimme a break with this Umberger *******. The puck just does all the work for this guy.

Unfortunately I am in California for work and can't watch the game on RDS as usual. I am relying on this FSN Ohio feed. I don't know how they live with these horrible announcers. Oh well, better than nothing.

Just an observation...Laraque looked great in that period...battling down deep on the cycle, pretty little pass to set up a shot, drew a penalty with strong play in front. Nice to see him contributing.

Kovalev's line has been better imo as has Koivu's... their last shift (koivu's line) wasn't the previous line didn't clear properly and they got bottled up in their own end

The three best scoring chances were all developed by the 4th line, as has atleast 1/3 of Montreal's shots; that is what I am basing it on.

This GDT is uncharacteristically slow tonight. Especially after a 6 day hiatus. I guess Columbus sure can bring the excitement!
