Excellent GDT habs425.

I'm expecting a lopsided victory after the crap we had to watch against the Blue Jackets. Plus I'm going to be at the game, so the Habs better not only win, but win big.

No more 5 or 6 game lay-offs til Christmas. Going to be good to see this team get into a proper flow.

This game kinda scares me...the leafs play there butts off...even though they don't have the talent...the effort is there!

Working hard and maximun effort is the first thing the Habs have to consider when playing this Leafs team, fancy passes shouldn't be on the radar tonight.

If the team wants to pick a time to really starting gelling and coming together, now would be it. Three annoying division rivals in a row starting tonight.

time to change lines

while watching last night's game I realized that we are under-utilizing A Kost. We got Kovalev on that line controlling the puck all the time and A Kost doesn't have a chance to shine or use his puck control talents. His style should be similar to Kovalev's on a different line. The lines we need are (making sure that we don't number the lines to say Kovalev on the 3rd line):
S Kost Plex A Kost (All 3 on the tieing scoring play last night) (A Kost needs to be RW!!)
Higgins Koivu Tanguay
Latendresse Lang Kovalev. (I don't care to see Latendresse or Lang carry the puck up ice on any line, so let Kovalev do it for them!!!)

Any hope for a line shuffle for tonight?

the only problem is we can't get 3 lines on the go, unless you count the PK lines. We need to stop taking dumb penalties. I noticed Kovalev didn't have any PIM last night - he must be a little peeved at all the PK.

Finally people are seeing the light that A. Kost needs to be away from Kovalev. I'll take that as step one, A Kost on RW will be step two.

Disturbing :S somebody's gona have fun photoshopping that...

Think we'll get this 4-2 with empty netter. However I feel we may get into a small slump, due to the looks of our few last games... Hopefully, I'm dead wrong. Laffs have shown persistence. Better not think the game is sealed until the last seconds.

awsome GDT just one little lineup correction. According to SC Mitchell is out with a seperated shoulder and Tlusty has been called up. Otherwise awsome work. GO HABS GO! 4-1

Come on habs, win this one. I got drunk last night because the habs lost. I want to get drunk because they win.

Speaking of which, did any of you guys go running down Ste Catherines at about 3:30 in the morning trying to play basketball with a fitness ball last night ?

habs win 4-3

A Kosty 2 goals ( 1 EV - 1PP )
Chris higgins ( always play well against them )
Latendress ( feel bad for the kid)

I want tender and A kosty to be in the RW, but not gonna happen this year.

My ideal lines are

Tanguay - Pleks - AK27 ( would have placed higgins, but him and
kovy don't click. Tanguay is very smart and has good speed on his natural wing. They should click )

Higgins - Saks - Akosty ( a kosty will shoot the puck a lot )
the rest is known

Ok Boys!
Tonight we have to listen to the wise words of the Great One.

That's right, Wayne Gretzky!!

For those of you who had a hard time understanding, please read below as I quoted him:

Quote:

Tlusty is not a centre and steen has played there before so i switched them in the leafs lineup... still not sure if its right... but it makes more sense anyway.

I'll check their GDT for some lines.

Disclosure - leaf fan here for brief visit not to bury but to praise:

I'm not sure we can give it to you but I hope for a well played, tight game, wherein the better team on the ice wins.

And, no injuries for either side.

I admire the way you guys play this game and wish you all the best for the next hundred years; your speed and skill have given me a great deal of pleasure over the past 50 years.

Good luck the rest of the year.
