Gomez, Drury, Dubinsky are going to be here for A LONG TIME = less cap space and less opportunity for a center to crack the lineup. You want Artem playing the 4th line? Thats a waste imo. Lets move him for a scoring winger

The cap makes it so hard to trade for proven snipers, we have to look for a deal on someone elses depth chart.

Rob Schremp has incredible talent. More offensive upside than Anisimov imo.
We can get Rob for a 3rd round pick, likely, at this point. He holds as much or less value than Al Montoya did.

If Sather can get Rob Schremp for a 3rd round pick than its his duty to do so.

I expect the Oil would want more

If they did want more they wouldn't get it. You're either severely overrating Schremp or severely underrating Anisimov.

As Jonathan said, Schremp's current value is similar in what Montoya's value was around January of last year.

The most I would move for Schremp would be Dawes. And I'd want something back like a late round pick.

Perhaps a bit of both, but we need scoring.

Goalies are tough, especially when everyone knows you have an elite tender already.

You have to fill the need and the Rangers simply need some guys who are finishers, even if they are a bit one dimensional. I have faith in Renny and his working with any young player

No, because Schremp sucks, and probably always will.

I'd take Schremp for the right price...which most certainly isn't Anisimov.

The poster I was responding to said "everyone". However, as far as I can tell from reading this thread, there is only one person beating the drum for Schremp.

I admit I was high on Schremp last season, but after he missed the cut this year, his stock dropped for me.

I'd give Prucha for him if only to give the Pack an additional scoring threat.

i have to disgaree here...IMO the reason schremp didnt make the team this season for edmonton is because they have SOO many other players on their scoring lines who are young and very good......a player like schremp may be the boost the third line needs in order to put up more points....plus he has the natural skill, he just needs to get comfortable...i would trade prucha for him in a heartbeat and dawes would be a possiblity...however, i would think edmonton would be more interested in the rangers 3rd

Just because a player didn't cut it for another team, doesn't mean he wont or cant be used effectively on this team.

The coaching staff has a lot to do with it. Renny is a great "teacher" Hes awesome with the young guys and balancing the different personalities. Instilling the character and work ethic in the kids.

He taught Colton Orr to work hard, skate play a responsible shift. He can work with Rob Schremp.

i really wonder what a player like him with a great shot would do with a player like gomez.....

naslund-drury-korpikoski
schremp-gomez-callahan
voros-dubi-zherdev
sjostrom-betts-orr

that would be three scoring lines....
