For the Higgins Remarks? Don't get me wrong I love Higgins..he's one of my favorite players but the guy missed pre-season and some of the early games...unless the guy is a crosby or lemieux its going to take a few games to get up to speed...nothing wrong with having him play on the 3rd line a few games. Some players after being off this much end up going to the minors for a short period of time...no shame in that
Kovy was keeping it simple. He got the puck out 2-3 times on the 3on5.
i meant offensively...you know when he wants to pass diagonally in the offensive zone for that perfect goal but there's like 6 guys in the line of the pass.
I am guessing how biased the announcers are. For some reason even if they aren't leaf fans, they still feel the need to put down the Canadiens at every chance.
Terrible play by the habs and blatant ignoring of the rule book by the officials. There is zero disputing Kostopoulos and Kostitsyn penalties however Carlo Colaiacovo instigated a fight and the whole leaf team went after Kostitsyn.
Habs are crap tonight so far and two veteran officials need to give their head a shake.
When you go after our future on the blueline obviously the whole leaf team is going to step in. As the Habs would if we went after one of your top young guys...
For those saying it was Van Ryn's fault for that hit you have to give your head a good shake..(not directed to the quoted poster)

That's very true. However, the league does little to punish headhitters and people who hit from behind as it is.
The refs need to let the players police themselves becasue the league doesn't have the balls to step in. Kosto drove him into the boards, he deserved the shots he got from Cola, and I'm totally cool with there being no instigator penalty there.
I only got to see it once, but Kostopolous' boarding call looked weak. It looked to me like Van ryn turned, and I still did not see Schenn get tripped.

i don't think they are, they've been rather accurate and fair.

The future of your franchise can't skate and the other guys are blind.
Thats all that happened there folks, move along.
