I think we're beyond complaining about the announcers on CBC. If you want to hear ridiculously biased opinion the other way, go for RDS.

i agree you go after and stand up for your team and your future but it still doesn't negate the fact the refs didn't do their job.

I really hate when that happens. 1 guy is at fault 1 guy goes after him. Some players today are acting like little punks ganging up on one player.

And u gotta love the Reffs looking @ this and acting like it's okay... yes 3 guys jumped 1 guy... that is fine.

I'm not complaining, and I don't even care. I am listening to RDS, and I don't understand much French...it works for me.

I'll tell you what...The Toronto Media sure does love them some Nicolas Hagman. It seems like every time I see something on the leafs they are interviewing him.

I think we need to lose big this game and realize that we can't just show up and get points. We are fortunate to have the record we have.

I keep saying, wait until we start playing the way we should be playing.....still waiting......and waiting......hopefully they can get their heads in the game when they actually start living hockey instead of just playing a game once in a while.

i don't understand how whats his face didn't get an instigator for jumping on kosto and throwing haymakers. When souray did that to armstrong when he headhunted koivu, souray got some time in the bin IIRC

It sure seems so. Which worries me, even though it's early. That's cause playoff games are all about that. We eked out a victory with Boston on our skill and determination alone but really we didn't have the grit and muscle to physically withstand another team and not break down defensively (which makes it very hard to get the offense going). It was even more magnified against Philly. The way the Habs play in these chippy games leaves a lot to be desired. Elite teams from out West would murder us in our current state!

Souray got tossed and Pittsburgh had a 7 minute powerplay.

I don't care if we win, but the work ethic of this team is pretty bad right now. We can't be that dumb to take that many stupid penalties and we just don't work enough.

It's fun to know that while we're lucky and playing bad we still win, so imagine when we'll start working.....still, it shouldn't be that way and we can't start having bad habits.

Well, he did score in the first. And he's panned out as a good signing, by all appearances.

well isn't that comparable to this situation? i don't think kosto meant it, but it was a hit from behind we can all agree on that. But how come the other guy didn't get anything for jumping kosto?
