Kostopoulos' penalty was the killer tonight. We're playing the second half of a back-to-back, on the road, after a tough loss in Columbus where we didn't play well, and we needed a good start. Instead we found ourselves killing a 5-minute powerplay off the hop and we were left playing catch up the rest of the way.
We played brutal in two straight games but now we have a couple of days rest, play back at home on Tuesday, and can try to get into the rhythm of a non-ridiculous schedule. Even though we've rarely played a full 60 minutes all year, we're still 8-2-1, so let's not lose sight of the big picture.

it is not a question of 4th dman, the habs play a passif game in their zone. This has been the case since Julien. They have to put more pressure on the player that has possession of teh puck once he is in their zone

Again.....winning has nothing to do with it. Playing a good 60-minute game would be nice once in a while. Working hard along the boards, add some grit to our game, already taking good habits....
I'm pissed off.....Add to that the Grabovski show, demonstrating that he was right after all and that's more frustrating....
Curious though why does the entire Montreal team hate Grabovski so much?
The only thing I can think of is that Grabs said or did something to make the group angry. I'm pretty sure there wasn't any real animosity before tonight between Grabs and the Habs.

My favorite parts of the game... when Kostopoulos obliterated Van Ryn and when S.Kost tried to murder Grabovski. Somebody's going to break his ****ing neck.
Brutal game. Schooled by the Leafs in every aspect. Habs really need to address the D. This Brisebois and O'Byrne experiment is headed nowhere. Kostopoulis deserves special mention for screwing the team at the start of the game.
