What troubles me a lot as far as Higgy is concerned is that he threw checks but he's almost sorry for it. Plays a gritty game without the grit....He would actually be the perfect 3rd liner of a winning and succesful team. But for that to happen he would still need to add more sandpaper to his game but I don't think he can do that...
I agree with on almost everything here, except that Raffi Torres has better hands than Higgins. The guy is just plain useless on Koivu's line right now, it's pathetic to watch. He steals some secondary assists here and there. His linemates doing the dirty work. Faned on 3 occasions tonight, didn't even got a shot on thoses occasions... sad...

I think he just realized that marbles are round. Give him time man, give him time.

Am I the only one who would like to see Sergei play with Tanguay & Koivu tuesday night vs Ottawa (i will be there too!! )

I thought he played great with Saku last year, and it might wake up everyone.

I would put Andrei there before his brother... but I don't think this line is going to be changed for a while, since Carbonneau really seems to love Higgins and that Tanguay - Koivu is our best duo so far in the season...

However, putting both Kostitsyns together would be a good start...

If we put them together, it has to be with Funk Master Pleks.

Higgins-Koivu-Tanguay
Latendresse-Lang-Kovalev
S.Kost-Plekanec-A.Kost

*drools*.

Agreed.... that line would be the slowest line in the league.

While Kovalev is faster than some people think, he's still the slower player in the top 9 besides Lats and Lang...

Yup.
Kovalev needs Plek, they get along great and always seem to be looking for one another. With Lats creating room on that line it would help them.
After that, it really doesn't matter who centers the Kost Broz. They don't even need a center.

I know... I can't wait for Carbo to realize that... These two players have to get better individually, but they also have to improve together, as they're the future of the Habs' offense... Lang could complete them well...
