Both these guys (Rolston and Conroy) went well above what I think they are worth. I'm glad we didn't enter the market for these two because neither is worth 3+ million dollars to us. It might be different if Rolston or Conroy were going to fill our 2nd/3rd line hole and take us from pretenders to contenders, but they aren't going to do anything of the sort.

No point in trading him right now. He's value is nonexistent. Why not see what he can do in camp? We know there talent is in there somewhere, I say let's give him this camp to find it. It won't cost us that much.

I concur, if he's not having a good camp, get him out of here

I should point out that I hope Arkhipov proves me wrong, but if he doesn't a massive happy dance will be broke out the day we send him off

Arkhipov simply needs a change of scenery. We've all seen flashes of what makes him a great player, but the past two seasons they haven't shown up at all.

It might be more than a change of scenery that's needed. If that was all it took, teams would be lining up for his services.

I still believe in Arkhi., but the belief expires at the end of training camp.

I agree that Rols and Conroy are not worth 3 mil. to us.

Teams haven't been lining up for him due to his play the past two seasons. I'm saying that he'll do better under a new system.

If he sucks the big north wind at camp, I say trade him for whatever you can get. Be it a 6th rounder and up. If you don't want him on your team and sent him down would he not have to clear waivers? Might as well get something if we don't want him in nashville.

Unless we trade for or sign a center, we're going to be stuck with Arkhipov.

Agreed, but if teams thought a change of scenery would do him good, he'd likely have been traded by now. These teams realize that being on their team (new scenery) isn't worth the risk of trading for him. That tells me that GM's around the league think the problem goes deeper.
