My god what have we done? Because of us and their "surprising" elimination, nobody want to play there anymore!Rolston to Minnesota,Thonton to Swiss,Odonnell to Phoenix.

THANKS GOD we didnt get Rolston...but my god i think we really hurt that team a lot! Thanks Saku and Kovy!A Special thanks too to Theo

HABS FAN FOREVER!!!

Don't let it go to your heads! It's just the nature of things. Your playoff performance, or our lack of it, was simply a bump in something that is/was much larger.

Thornton has a clause in his contract with Davos to leave the team if there's a complete or partial NHL season, so he's not gone.

I don't think Rolston and Murray wanted to leave Boston. Maybe, but they probably wanted to test the UFA's market. Same thing apply here, with Kovalev. If they wanted more cash than Mike O'Connell is able to give them, where is the problem from Beantown?

How many more Bruins threads do we need here? Some of you think they are just going to roll over and do nothing, personally I would be shocked if they didn't go after a big name. They have saved money with Rolston and Murray, so their is money available, at least theoretically.

Really any team with Thornton, Samsonov, Boynton, and Raycroft are pretty dangerous.

...

I always find it amusing how those B's fans come around, claiming our little smurfs are gonna get their ***** kicked by the big bad bruins, yet it never happens.
Instead we eliminate them and then reveal all the freakin holes they have in that franchise.

Once again, as I've said thousands of times, the bruins are the Habs' *****es. No doubt about it. They're gluttons for punishment. They cant beat us.

I like watching the bruins and their fans squirm.

What really pisses me off is the fact that the Bruins have the inside track to get Sidney Crosby

Ha Ha!!!!! Hardly. No one knows how this is going to shakedown. The Bruins are trying not to blink, hoping the new CBA can make this waiting game worthwhile. Be thankful a lot of your team is coming back.

The Crosby talk is ludicrous, IMO. To drop that significantly in one season from the last would be quite a spectacle.

If Thornton holds out because he wants more than a one year deal then everything is possible.

I'll give you that. Essentially, that top line is all but gone. That top line also accounted for a great percentage of the offense. Production from the remaining lines paled greatly in comparison. So, the onus is on the remaining players to pull it together, or the playoff performances won't be seen as anomalies but rather what a team looks like when the smoke and mirrors are turned off.

Bruins are supposed to be a rich team...Well i don't see why they always do nothing to win a championship. They had a good team last year. But now it's like they want to sell everything and be a 9-12nd team in the east again
I think they need new management & fresh money. It's hard for me to say that but i think they deserve better. Poor teddy bears

It's still Sinden who runs the business??? If yes, than I understand. At least you are making descent profits every years. Every teams should copy the Bruins. It's normal to make $$$ when you spend 100 millions $ on a franchise.
