Where the hell would Ribeiro play? This is the Olympics, or the World Championships, not an All-Star game. We need 4th liners (Lombardi, Burrows) and a checking line. Ribeiro wouldnt play before Bergeron, Briere, LeCavalier at center, and he certainly wouldnt be on the checking line. Vermette can win faceoffs and play the PK. Ribeiro cant play wing.
Thus, Ribeiro is the odd man out, sorry.
I didnt know Boyle was from Ontario, my mistake.
As for Bouillon, I never knew he once play for team USA...
He would play on the second line behind Lecavalier. Morrow was a 40 point player before he got to Dallas. Why cant people admit hes one heck of a player ??
Anyway to talk about team Quebec, it can't happen. I know people always cite Wales or Scotland, but that came out of a tradition of England Scotland and Wales playing each other in soccer that preceded international organization of the sport. So this exception to the rule was allowed to continue, international sports organizations won't reconize other nationalities in other nations due to the political implicatons of that. With that said however, I am going to build my own National team; Team Newfoundland!!!
Ryan Clowe - Pascal Pelletier - Daniel Cleary
Michael Ryder - Daniel Ryder - Jason King
Patrick Yetman - Jason Morgan - Teddy Purcell
Brad Brown - John Slaney
Doug O'Brien -
Dan LaCosta
Too lazy to search for minor pro or minor european pro players. If anyone can fill in this team then go for it
Ryan Flinn (NS)
Andrew Joudrey (NS)
Adam Mcquaid (PEI)
Andrew Sweetland (NL)
David Brine (NS)
Doug O'Brien (NL)
Franklin MacDonald (NS)
Craig MacDonald (NS)
Darryl Boyce (PEI)
There are many others in ECHL, Euro leagues, etc... but it would have been too long searching for them!
I could have had Junior players who were drafted or will probably be:
Luke Adam (NL)
Jake Allen (NB)
Steven Anthony (NS)
Matt Brown (NS)
Randy Cameron (PEI)
Garrett Clarke (NS)
Patrice Cormier (NB)
Sean Couturier (NB)
Cameron Critchlow (NB)
Chris Doyle (PEI)
Ben Duffy (NS)
Matt Fillier (NS)
Brandon Gormley (PEI)
Alex Grant (NS)
Joey Haddad (NS)
Brandon Hynes (NL)
Devon MacAusland (NB)
Brandon MacLean (NS)
Logan MacMillan (PEI)
Alex Noël (NB)
Travis Randell (NL)
Kelsey Tessier (NB)
Alex Wall (NL)
Michael Ward (NB)
Brad Yetman (NL)
There are more and more quality players from the Maritimes, they're overtaking Quebecers in the first round of the QMJHL's draft.

Willie Mitchell, Scott Hannan and Dan Hamhuis are extras for BC while O'Byrne, Gorges and Lukowich are in the lineup....
Also i hate the positions you gave to the Team Ontario guys... Sharp as one of your centres?? He is a winger forced to play centre on Chicago right now cause they have no centres, and you have how many centres playing wing.... where is your checking line?? Jonathan Cheechoo in the lineup?? What?

I didn't give positions much thought, I just threw out the best players possible, (and some obligatory homer picks)

Some of your picks seem to be putting together an All-star team to me too with no regard for fit and roles IMO. I think we've seen in these tourneys that all-star teams don't work, and you need guys to play different roles.
Same thing every year. Let them have their fun and play their little game. I rather look at the top Canadian team and have nothing to do with a Quebec team.

For Team Ontario, I would take Denis Wideman over all thoses guys easilly: Kevin Bieksa, Bryan McCabe, Rob Blake, Marc Staal.
Pominville decided to play for team USA, so he's out just like Bouillon.
Yeah but this thread is hypothetical anyway. He decided to play for USA because there is really no room for him on team Canada. Do you think if there were a team Quebec, he still would have chosen USA?
In 5-10 years, Team BC is going to be the most dominant of the provinces. It's just the unfortunate truth. BC and Alberta have been cranking out talent like nobodies business, due to the better play standards of the WHL. Fighting is almost illegal in the QMJHL, but theres more skill in the WHL. Figure that one out.
So childish my dear! Indeed! The attitude of some of the commoners around here is appaling! The audacity! How dare they?!!
I've heard they drink too much, i told one of those poor beggar the other day "here's a penny you shall not drink it but, instead, get yourself a haircut". They are afflicting.
As long as there's people like you and I who are willing to help them improve themselves and looking down at them at the same time, maybe there's a little hope for these poor souls. Maybe.
