This game should show of what the Habs are made. They have been on a down slide lately, while Ottawa has taken the the opposite path, starting out weak and coming on strong as of late. I know some say it is a lame excuse, but I still think those 2 multi-day lay-offs this early in the season had an effect on the teams rhythm.

Most definitely, and unfortunately I feel it'll take a few more games under their belt until they start to click on all cylinders. I'm sure Ottawa smells blood and a victory tonight for them in Mtl will really tighten things up in the NorthEast.

I dont think he was using it as a comeback as much as using some of the same lame sarcasm Sens fans are famous for on their board when calling out Habs fans.

I'm not trying to take away from the greatness of it. 24 championships is very impressive. I appreciate the history of the team but I just can't stand when I read this board and there is a discussion when some Hab fans says "Well...we have 24 Stanley Cups."

I think it's a running joke more than anything else. It actually makes Spartans fans think we actually mean it, hence they regurgitate the same and look lamer in the process.

What's the point of winning if we can't talk about it? Our team have won 24 cups, that's something that we should be realy proud of: the goal of the game is winning. Seriously i never see anybody talking about it on the board, sure i was being lame when i used it, but why are you so afraid that i would look like an "idiot" talking about it? You shouldn't care about the sens trolls that much, i come to this board to have fun, i couldn't care less what the trolls think.
