Super game. Went back to the basics. Team D, everything good follows. O'Byrne played the way he needs to play to be a force in this league, very encouraging to see this game from him.

Nothing not to love about that game.

Maybe the Toronto game was a blessing in disguise...looks like it woke our ***** up.

That's what I figure is going to happen. It's a shame Simon didn't hurt him more when he stepped on his foot.

Jarkko Ruutu is a piece of trash though. I can't stress it enough.

3 more years of having to deal with that punk 6 times a year? Ugh.

...And pop goes the Auld balloon...

Great game. That's how you beat up sub-par teams.

I was curious and went to the Sens board, had a chuckle.

At first, they were in denial about their team being a shade of what it once was and used sarcasm to hide behind the ugly truth, but I think they're slowly starting to accept the irrelevancy of their team, and it's pretty funny.

At work, listening to the game, scaring co-workers with really loud shouts, I LOVE IT!

If Ruutu is going to run his mouth, then he shouldn't be afraid to drop him with BGL. Im pretty sure after he hit laps he ran to bouillon just to avoid fighting with BGL. So soft.

in the 3 pages i read at the end i gathered the following info:

- it was a meaningless game
- we called leafs fans idiot for chanting nah nah nah goodbye
- they destroyed us before numerous times so they let us have one
- habs fans are idiots
- spezza sucks

All in all a good game. Still not impressed with Kovalev, Pleks, and Kostitsyn but hopefully they actually get it going.

Much better penalty killing. Strong puck support and pressuring the puck.

Price was excellent.

Higgins rounding into shape.

Can i say Habs's best game of the season so far ? and the only game they did play for full 3 periods.
There are almost nothing negative on this game they shut down one of the best PP unit in the league, score 4 goals, a shut out.
The only minor negative is our PP...I woulda be total happy if one of those 4 goals was scored on a PP, but life is never perfect isnt it !!!! Go Habs Go

Its funny, on that sweet pass from Sergei to Higgins, if Higgins misses the shot, or the pass somehow gets blocked on the way, I'd bet we'd hear from the commentators that it was one pass too many/Looking for the fancy play. But when it works out, holy crap is it ever nice.

Solid effort good game.
