Thank god he found he's tarting to find his game back, it was about time, happy though that he's partially making me eat my words, if he could only play like this every game, not scoring 3 goals, he was catching his passes, he played with confidence when he had the puck, his passes were tape to tape, got more physical then usual, was very refreshing to see

Great game overall for our teams, extra props to Higgy.
It's games like tonight's that make us worthy of #1 in East and Cup Contender.

True.

One hat trick doesn't make a career people, even Georges Laraque had once pulled a hat trick. Let's see if Higgins can keep it up.

We needed them. It was ****ing freezing outside

We needed those, too. We were hungry

Yup. I'm obviously super ecstatic about the hat trick, but it was great to see him play so well this game.

And yes, that pass from Sergei was a great pass.

Awesome...just awesome, had shivers on the third one. Classic higgy reaction...knee up....double fist curl..."whoooooo". Wonder what Kovy was saying to him on the bench after ("you should have moonwalked")

Also...dunno if it's already been mentioned, but glad BOTH of them got goals tonight (i.e. Lats) cuz we need them the way they're playing and if that's the case, no debates about who's better.

It amazes me that you can't even give props when it's deserved and then claim to be a habs fan. Pathetic, really.

Also...a bit OT, but WHAT feeds from Saku (and obviously great hand-eye from Chris to handle them)! If only Dandy and Laps could finish those (no complaints, just wishing, they did their jobs).

The quality of his play was exemplary, unlike your surly, sullen atitude. Anyway, despite missing 6 games, he has more goals than your crush. Too bad Higgins missed those 6 games. It'll make it harder for him to reach 40, but Koivu and Tanguay will give him a lot of help and he has a fighting chance. By the way, your other love, the Sens, had a nice day, didn't they?

At this point the bashing of Erika is actually much more annoying then her harping on about Higgins <<< S.Kost.

When one poster had her agenda and stuck to it, it was a bit silly but a fairly harmless crush. Now we have half a dozen or so people chiming in, just to put it in her face, when Higgins has a terrific game.

Believe it or not, the latter is actually more pathetic and annoying. The fact that it's "in vogue" to continue doing it says an awful lot more about the playground here than the beautiful "are we really that bad" thread on the main board.

Yep, seems like we really are that bad....for shame.

Great game from Higgins, I'm pretty sure EVERY poster here is happy for the outcome!

I have said that so many times but some guys here take pride on bashing a girl, don't agree just ignore and show some class.
It is easier I guess to do that online than face to face.

Speaking as someone who was at the game, it was truely an amazing experience.

I only get to catch 1-2 Habs game per year, and this was one of the best games I've ever had the pleasure of going to.

PS: Price is perfect when I'm in attendence (last game i went to was his first NHL shutout against Philly last Feb, 1-0).

Don't need the sauce tonight

Also, don't forget Carey's shut out. And that the Sens failed.

Okay, you remembered that part but it bears repeating.

Sens? Failed.

I disagree. Lessons need to be thought. I'd actually approve more of this all arround. Accountability is something this site could use.

People should just place Erika on ignore.

I'm shocked that she didn't even mention the wonderful feed Sergei gave Higgins for his second. That was a giver.

I'm happy to have kept a hold of Higgins in my pool. I knew he wouldn't fail me. Nice goal by Lats too. Wow. Lats? Goal. Higgins? Hat. Price? Shutout. This is a sad day for haters.

He was incredible tonight.

Scored 3 and had 4-5 other golden chances to score more.

Jaydee = very happy Higgins fan!
