I bet she will say Higgins is lucky because his teammates did all the work for him. Koivu with a beautiful lob pass, Sergei with a nice pass while he could have shoot and Tanguay put him on the breakaway aswell. Higgins has no merit on those goals.

it's hilarious, the sens fans are taking out their anger towards Habs fans in the NHL Talk forum now. They're saying we're whining about something and being angry?

What? Higgins "hands of stone" with a hat-trick? Unbelievable!

Great team effort tonight with Price being very solid... Hope they bring that hustle in Boston... Kudos to the boys tonight...

sick pass to koivu on the pk (the points will come, he's on pace for another 80 point year)

georges was excellent against alfredsson, and price was just solid and in the zone
right on higgy, good for you man
The other thing about Kovalev playing the PK is he has the endurance to play a long shift which is vital in second periods.

Scrolled though a couple of pages of the Sens GDT, man... the hatred they have for Habs fans is reaching quite the hilarious level. Just post after post about Habs fans, almost nothing about Habs the team, just how much they hate the fans. Great stuff.

Solid game tonight. Let's see it again on Thursday.

And I'm running out of patience with the Plekanec line. I know Kostitsyn is always a slow starter, but for christ's sake lets see some goals, and let's see Kovalev pass the puck once or twice.

First of all, congrats to Higgins, he played a terrific game and that line is going to be dynamite. I wish we could have a Tanguay-Lecavalier-St. Louis line, boy would it be even more fun to be a Habs fan. Tanguay is everything I thought he would be and even more, he's skilled and smart.

I'd also like to say that Kovalev through the first two periods was dominant, he had a tougher third but he made some jaw dropping plays. I have no fear for that line, it's just a matter of time before they start clicking, Kovy's starting to gear up.

Koivu and Markov have been playing like stars this year. Markov is definitely top 5 up to now. His offensive skill right now makes grown men blush.

One last thing that makes me really like this team this year:
Quote:
Lost to a better team, Ruutu showed up at least.

That game showed me one thing, we need an enforcer. Too bad we had a top one last year and traded him for nothing. Komisarek going after Fisher, and going after Heatley like crazy near the end while Vermette and Spezza watch. Laraque going after Neil and Ruutu. Get a heavy.
Its been a few games now other fans have said this after playing the Habs. Its become a nightmare to play against the Habs, they brutalize you on the scoreboard, play dirty and make you pay in the corners.

Tanguay has not only been money for us offensively the guy made some excellent defensive plays tonight and has been solid defensively all year, please Bob re-sign him

Don't forget they block shots like crazy, another sign of a difficult and tough team.

Smart, versatile, takes the hit to make the play, reliable, efficient, disciplined(besides tonight he only had 1 penalty)...he is quickly becoming my favourite hab.

It's funny how effective a player can really be making the smart play, just keeping things as simple as possible.

What Gorges does might be simple, but it's not easy. The Rivet trade was very, very good.

Let's put it into perspective.

He's 1 month older than O'Byrne.

I was at the game, amazing performance by everybody.

Don't know if any other HF members witnessed the scene, but some Sens fans got kicked out of Bell centre, and in a pretty brutal manner. I don't know if they deserved it (the guy next to me said they were spilling beer intentionally on people in front of them). The sens guys from the group were pretty calm when security arrived, but at one point a sens female fan started punching a huge security guard like hell. Then security went crazy, it was an ugly scene. Habs fan were a bit retarded and were throwing all kinds of stuff (beer, popcorn) at them before that event.

On the ice though, what a game to be at Bell Center! Glad to see Higgins got his wrister back; I was losing faith on the kid...And what about that Tender one-timer? Can you do that more often?

Also, kudos to the molson dry girls in the stands...OMG

Christopher Higgins

thats all I have to say.
He was incredible tonight, he could have had 3-4 more goals with all the chances he had.

The team came to play and it was beautiful to see.

The ATAK line got robbed too in the first when the ref went whistle-happy while the puck wasn't even frozen.
