Cube played a good game tonight and stepped up big to defend his teammate. Ruutu should thank him though, because by Cube jumping in to deal with him it meant BGL didn't have to and to quote the TSN commentator Ruutu would have got 5 for receiving.

yeah I really loved him tonight
and he's been really good this season
Bouillon is probably the most underrated player on the team this year. I said it before, he is playing some very good hockey. He's not flashy but he gets the job done.
Agreed with pretty much everyone who responded on this thread. I've always liked Cube. Only time he's not that effective is when he comes back from injuries. Besides that, he's doing just fine for a 5th/6th defenceman.
Cube will always have a spot on our D if it was me. Sure he has tremendous heart, he can hit, can fight and works hard. But people undervalue his work as a puck-moving defenseman. He's the best we have in that departement after Markov. I mean his speed and the way he relaunch the offense is important. We wouldn't want to have just big non-moving logs in the backend right?

It feels great to see a thread like this one, I thought I was the last of the cube lovers.
he is a hell of a dman ... heart , passion , shows up every game . his abilities are underated and his contract ain't THAT bad... so give the guy a break and enjoy seeing him play.
I've been a huge Cube fan for a few years now, it's nice to see him playing well enough that I can say that without ducking and running. Love his heart.
Bouillon. when playing healthy and within his limits, is a very good number 6 d-man. One of the top in the league. Pound for pound, and inch for inch, he is among the most couragest player in the NHL.
People here are assuming to Bouillon is gone after this season, but I think its safe to say he will re-sign with the Habs.
I predicted two more years a couple of months ago... Seriously, he's as good as any bottom pairing guy out there, so as long as he's willing to earn less than $2 million, the only way for him to get bumped would be for a young up and coming LD to take his place. Valentenko was the guy I saw as being Bouillon's closest (2 seasons away) threat in the organization, and now he's gone, so...
