Kopitar.

Offensively, I feel they are roughly equal with an all so slight edge to Kane.

Defensively, Kopitar hands down. Second on his team among forwards in pktoi/g and gets a decent amount of points shorthanded.

Physically, neither are exactly bruisers. But Kopitar is much, much, bigger. You can argue whether or not size matters until you are blue in the face, but I don't see how being 6'3 220 can be a bad thing.

I also consider 1st line centers to be more valuable than 1st line wingers.

Kopitar is very quick for his size, although he is not overly physical, he can take a pounding and still control the puck and draw penalties.all he has to work on is his shooting accuracy.

This rest of your post is correct but Kane is a much more talented offensively.

Still, i'll go with Kopitar right now. If Kane keeps it up though i might change in a few months on this one.

The way I see it is..Kopitar reminds me a lot of young Sundin..The way he plays, his 2 way game, and his offensive instincts.

Kane simply reminds me of Briere. He`s small and quick and will bite you in the ass with that clutch goal.

I just think Kopitar has so much potential to be amazing, Kane will be that flashy winger speeding up and down the ice.

Except Kane, at 19, is already better than Briere.
