Or it might be because it has been like this (empty) since the beginning of the season?
No, no. In a town of supposed die-hard fans, a 70,000 person distraction automatically provides an excuse for barely getting 15,000 fans (including the other team's) out of the remaining 600,000 downtown, and 3 million immediately surrounding area.
Habs woes of late have been concentrated on the road. Really, we maybe had a couple average home games and a mediocre one (loss to Anaheim) but check out our road play. It's been getting worse. Hell, we need to get it to stop before it hits Dec-Feb 2006 (and 2007) levels of suckiness. Games in hand on Boston are nice, if you win them of course. I don't like how this team is playing away from the Bell Centre right now (oddly, it was our road record that kicked ass over our home record last year).
P.S. Still waiting on AK46. I get that he was nothing special until December during last season, but we could use some consistency from the guy. This is no sophomore jinx either since last year was actually his sophomore season (played enough games between 05-06 and 06-07 to fulfill rookie requirements I believe).
