Oh I think I've seen about enough from the Plekanec line. Well it's not even really a line. You've got Kovalev just out for a skate, Plekanec only looking for Kovalev, and Kostitsyn just looking lost. They never sucked for a 10+ game span last year like they have this year. Keep the brothers together, play them with Lang, or Plekanec... whoever.
No doubt Price was horrible. I don't blame Carbo for keeping him in. Price helped create his own mess, no need to send Halak to clean it up.
The rest of the team was brutal too, but make a couple of big saves and we're still in it. That's his job. Remember last year the guy who told his teammates "why don't we try playing in their end for a while?" He needs to show up more often than not.

Komisarek - Not for the game he played but for finally dropping the mitts with Lucic. Perhaps now the "he's a coward" simpletons will shut up.
The thing about simpletons is they never actually have a valid point and one's time is wasted waiting for them to make one. I'm sure they will all move on to another equally ridiculous delusion to entertain themselves.

We're only in November. Yes there are lots of things that need to be fixed but I seriously prefer to see them lose like this than to see them win a game where they put no effort and think they can win any game.
Still, I agree it's kind of sad to see a team play a perfect game Tuesday and then see them play like that tonight...Where were the leaders of that team?

Wasn't Price's fault still a 5-hole on freakin Thornton? That incredibly bad rebound that he gave giving Yelle a goal. And then, not just in the goals but all night he was so bad in his positional game, was slow and was battling the puck all night....

That is over-reacting. Frankly it doesn't even come close to the worst habs games I have seen let alone ALL NHL clubs
Yea but Boston's a good team and if we lose, but give an incredible effort, then so be it. But ****, what the **** was that? This is going to be a looong and disappointing season if some of the guys on this team don't wake the **** up. News flash - noone is afraid of the Habs.
It doesn't take much to win when you have our talent - work hard, play responsible in your own end, keep pucks deep in the other team's zone, skate hard. Habs were 0/4.
Not specificaly in the crease. Happens in the high slot. The Bruins know it and they did it all game long.
Do that on any goalie in the league, you'll score more often than not. The defence can't let those passes happen. Lateral movement is a big part of the game, one-timers are tough on goalies because they have to get from one side of the net to the other in a hurry.. now you're going to blame him for not getting to one side, to the other and then back? That's a lot of weight displacement, stops and push offs in the time it takes passes to go across the ice and a quick accurate NHL shot to be made. You have to cheat and know there will be those passes in order to be ahead of the game, but in the NHL you suspect your defence will be at least good enough to make the other team hesitant or block or at least deflect the pass.
The most insulting thing of the night was Lucic doing his stuff after the fight with Komisarek. Had he only won and got out, it would have been ok, but seeing him do the clown out there was just too much.
Had I been behind the penalty bench, I'd have peed on him.
1. Playing the puck in the restricted zone = 1 goal
2. Squeeze the puck when it hits your glove and avoid those unsightly rebounds.
3. Quit sliding so far out of your net. That's not a goalie in control.
He almost batted one into his own net on a casual play. I love Price but if he doesn't play with a *little* more intensity, he's not going to succeed.

He could have stopped all 3. Especially the first one that went 5 hole.

Look, I'm not saying he wasn't bad, because he wasn't good. But no one showed up, so why leave him in? He's not getting any help. The last person you want on your team to lose confidence is your goaltender.

Leaving him in could affect his confidence, which is the be all and end all for goalies. I also subscribe to the cliche that you don't leave a goalie in when the team in front of him doesn't show up, on rare occasions the players respond to such a move.
