Well the way he was holding his right arm alongside his body, made me also think a shoulder injury....

But then everything will be put in perspective 'cause Komi's trash might be better than anybody else playing with Markov now....

Yep because having Brisebois or dandenault as a regular on D will help our cause.

Good point.

I think Gorges is more than up to the task. What we saw from Gorges with Markov last season has looked considerably better than anything we've seen from Komisarek since his injury last season.

Depending on the length of the injury, i think Gainey starts looking for another Dman today.

Recall a young guy. Weber is doing great down there. It's time to test him n the big league. It could get interesting...

Yeah Gorges should hold his own with Markov. But we have lost a lot of toughness with this injury, and the third pairing will be Breezer and Bouillon? Awesome!!

The Team 990 was reporting all morning, based on a Francois Gagnon tory that they were looking at possibly a broken hand ? It was on the morning show, thought it was already here.

Georges up with Markov will actually settle the team's game down a bit.

Komisarek has been crazy inconsistent this year. He has actually looked bad for the most part.

I agree it sucks, but at least it'll give a chance to someone who might actually not be a liability playing with Markov. Don't get me wrong, our team is better with Komisarek than without him, but I think you have to be blind not to realize that he's been atrocious defensively. Thank god he still hits and blocks shots, otherwise he'd be in the same boat as Laraque right now; utterly useless.

'Great' is a little over the top. He looks good when he's got the room to show off his skills but he's less than average in his own end at the AHL level. Belle would likely be the best, safest call up.

They had something to settle. Now that it is AND that the fans will stop expecting Komisarek to be that big bully, it won't or shouldn't happen again, at least not against guys who actually knows how to fight. And it better happen now than in April or in the playoffs.

Belle and safest on the same phrase.....seems a little too much no? Keep hearing how Henry didn't look too bad. As far as Weber is concerned, sure there are some deficiencies, like there are for O'Byrne. Thing is he would at least give us something to look for as far as the PP is concerned. But then to know how he will handle himself, shouldn't we try him first? With who is he paired with?

Robi-di-bi-da-bi-du to the rescue: 4th in hits, +1 even with Turco not stopping beach balls, experienced, cheap (cap wise, but won't be that cheap to acquire for the same reason...)
