Robi-di-bi-da-bi-du to the rescue: 4th in hits, +1 even with Turco not stopping beach balls, experienced, cheap (cap wise, but won't be that cheap to acquire for the same reason...)
Robidas has a good value right now IMO. Maybe Philipp Boucher could be a good addition. Pairing him with Hamrlik could be fantastic.
They had something to settle. Now that it is AND that the fans will stop expecting Komisarek to be that big bully, it won't or shouldn't happen again, at least not against guys who actually knows how to fight. And it better happen now than in April or in the playoffs.
Completely disagree. Komisarek was not supposed to fight him this year, that's why we got BGL. The only time I want to see Komi dropping the mitts is to come to the aid of a teammate.
Several players battle all year long with each other, doesn't mean they have to fight to settle their differences. It's settled in the battles along the board & the score at the end of the game. Komisarek didn't try to injure him or play any chicken-**** games. All the battles last year were relatively clean.
It may put us back in contention for a moral victory... we didn't even get close to having even that last night, it was so pitiful.
Moral Victories are for the Bruins...as mentionned in an other thread, we need to have our own version, yet classier. I have come up with "Spiritual Triumph"...

Maybe we can send all our players on a walkabout? Those deserving to wear the CH will make it back alive.

Send them up Mont Royal (the mountain, not the street) And have them spend the night there with nothing but a compass and toothpaste. The survivors will be known as "the chosen ones".

I really like both of those ideas. If we could get either of those two guys without giving up any major pieces, I'd be very, very happy. Both are under-rated and would be excellent additions to our line up. Bob has a good relationship with the stars, so........you never know?

And I disagree as well. We got BGL for the big heavyweights. We got BGL to be in the opponent's face and we got him so our players would feel bigger. Feeling bigger also has to mean be more willing to drop them once in a while. And hearing and reading some of you who keep dissing Lucic, the kid is not supposed to be in the heavyweight category, something Komisarek was "supposed" to be more than able to handle, again based on some posters in here. Now if both of them thought that everything that had happened between them was relatively clean, they would not have accepted to go at it like they did yesterday. And if Komisarek would have turtled if Lucic had sent the invitation, his reputation throughout the league would have been tarnished for good. The guy, at the very least, has some honor and needed to respond again to a kid who most people in here think he'll be killed by the great BGL.
It looked like he hurt his hand during the fight however as much as I didn't want him to fight i'm not gonna complain about it. Laraque doesn't force people to fight, so komisarek got rid of personal business and the hit by lucic on kovalev himself. In the room, BGL, and any other teammate will pat komi on the back. Komi fighting, when he isn't an enforcer, may have showed the team that even in a 5-1(at the time) loss there's no reason to just topple over and accept the beating. There's always something to lose. Unfortunately, the habs let in another goal and didn't play solid hockey afterwards. You could see how they played they were upset, frustrated, but this is not anyone's fault but theirs.
