Habs hire a shooting instructor for the Dogs

good article about the way Habs are taking care of their young prospects . Last season they worked on the dribbling , now they are working on the shooting ( and will also have powerskating lessons )

Much better than a boxing instructor. More lethal, too.

I know a few that should learn boxing. I would take Komi, Lats, Lappy, O'byrne out to boxing lesson next summer. Habs players lack a mean streak and that's a fact.

The title of the thread had me worried. I thought of Michael Vick for some reason.

That's true but the story doesn't tell how much lessons he got .

Vincent Lecavalier took boxe lessons few years back .

Maybe if the title was "Habs acquire shooter for facelift of PP", then maybe Cheney is the one I would have thought of.

Or maybe they should call him to give a session with the big club ; Lang and Higgins need to learn how to NOT touch the posts , SKost needs to learn to shoot sometime , Lapierre needs to learn NOT to shoot all the time , and Koivu needs to learn how to shoot stronger than a female player .

Last time I checked, he's the only one who scored for us yesterday.

If hockey was stationary, he'd be an all-star.

yeah but if you saw the goal you would have seen that it was not even a shot nevermind a strong shot.

You do realize it was a quick wrap around backhand right? Either way, i don't have much tolerance for negative Koivu remarks. People bust his balls way too much.

A goal as backhand, wrister, or slapshot all look the same on the scoreboard.
