gone to the batting cages with your goalie gear? I seen that commercial and did it this weekend. Me and a few friends. Just messing around ya know. Me and a friend went into the cage and he stood in front of me to deflect the baseballs past me. we eventually got kicked out (swing around fun town) but i swear it's the funnest thing you can do in a batting cage (that wont get you arrested)

LOL!

You gotta do like Happy Gilmore man... stand in front of the balls with nothing but a T-shirt and shorts!

Ah, liability issues. Where would the world be without them?

Since I'm cheap and love building things, I'm actually in the process of making a tennis ball launcher that (a) fires at 80-90MPH and (b) aims randomly within a 4' x 6' area to keep me on my toes.

If I ever get this finished, it would be awesome to set that up on the acreage for some full-gear dryland training.

Business owners are always trying to figure out different ways to attract more kids and make more money. Sounds like a win-win to me.

I work at a place that has batting cages. If I saw someone do this I would:

1) Laugh my ass off, then

2) Promptly kick them out.

I guess the batting cage is a good substitute if you can't get your hands on a puck machine.
