He is young, transitioning to the North American style of game as a Pro....when he has been out there he has been okay, but you can tell he is pressing. He will be fine IMO. Just give him some time. Trotz is known for breaking in rookies EXTREMELY slow.
Hörnqvist has been okay. He's been making things happen and goes into traffic after the puck. He's made some really good plays, but has also made some really bad turnovers. Some experience and development time in the minors would do him some good, for sure, but I don't think we have any alternative at the moment. Pillu seems to have leveled off in Milwaukee after a hot start, Spaling would be a lateral move and I'm not sure Thuresson is NHL ready just yet. Unless we bring in some outside help, Hörnqvist will have the opportunity to get his offense going and start burying pucks. God knows we need him to.
