I saw the end of the 2nd and all of the 3rd. I think i saw one play actually work/pass connect and it was on the goal.

I'll be positive at first. Koivu is magic.

Except that play where Carle intercepted the pass and the goal, I can't remember us connecting 2 passes in a row tonight

Is kind of sad when the smallest forward on the team is the only one playing balls to the walls and winning the battles.

Brunet was right for once.

The effort wasn't really the problem. They were trying. They just couldn't execute a play to save their lives. I don't think I've ever seen worse passing, shooting or puck retrieval. Not to mention faceoffs.

Not even generating a single chance on the final PP just about summed it up.

I wish the team would at least show half the heart that Koivu does. ****ing pathetic effort again.

Gorges is the definition of heart and soul.

If pansies like Brisebois and O'Byrne took note, maybe they wouldn't be an embarassment to the sport of hockey.

No flow ,,, can't make 2 passes in a row... standing around waiting for a pass at the other blueline.... do they really have a system or does Carbo just open the door and say line 1....line 2 ...line 3 .....the whole team looks like they don't enjoy playing ..time to bring up Carle and get rid of Breezeby and bring Chips up to center the 4th line as Laps is not a C

And I would add that great veteran presence, great sniper and good guy in the room, SmoLANGski....

I wonder which finished vet we'll be having next year after Bonk, Smolinski, Lang....if Jason Allison tries to comeback again, I'll vote for him....

I know he's not finished but hated the trade when it happened, and don't see the use now.

Not even Brett Favre can connect on 2 in a row when the whole world knows your system. Why is "dump and chase" suddenly a bad word?

the more i think about it and the more i think this is a coaching thing. I believe the whole team, including Carbo, thought this would be an easy regular season where everyone gets owned by their talent and Ole Ole behind them.

The way they have played all year now means it's a coaching problem. They did not prepare this team properly.

Please, for the love of god, call up Weber. I just can't watch both O'Byrne and Brisebois in the line up anymore. I'm going to have to get my eyes surgically removed it this keeps up.

At this point, it's fair to say this I think.

It's okay, we're still 9-4-2.
It's okay, we're still 9-5-2.
It's okay, we're still 9-6-2.
...

I'd like to see some trio tweaking. If a line like the KPK line has one good game and three bad ones, it doesn't mean they're playing well.

Koivu's a beast, though.
