I agree. We need someone with offensive talent on D but also for the PP.

And for a puck possession team we sure ice the puck and give it to the other team a lot.

Clearly they missed the memo about being a puck possession team, you're not supposed to willfully give it up.

Well another game, another loss.

Good Notes:
Tanguay gets his 8th!
Leafs Also Lost 4-2! So No Leafs Fan Will Bother Us XD

Bad Note:
We Lost Again..

Predictions:
Beat St.Louis 4-1'ish.
Carolina: Shootout Or OT
Then I Think Its Ottawa where we will lose.

Changes:
-We need Chipchura and NOW!!!
-Price should get second chance...
-Max P. call up along with webber maybe?

We can try Weber for the PP, he can't be worse than Brisebois on D.
Calling up Chipchura and moving Lappy to the wing and getting rid of some deadweight i.e. Begin and Dandenault would be nice.
Maybe bench some of the veteran players (Kovalev? One of the Kostitsyn bros?) and give D'Agostini a shot, he's tearing the AHL apart.

in all honesty... i simply believe this team is not disciplined enough and carbs does not seem to be cracking the whip...so yes i agree with u

That was pretty uninspiring for the most part.

Flyers weren't all that impressive either. If the habs played a team on the top of their game, it would have been a boston result.

The lack of attention to detail and the amount of high risk plays are getting pretty frustrating to watch

I know he's not finished but hated the trade when it happened, and don't see the use now.
Ahh c'mon WS, find me a better excuse than Lang missing the nets. Lang playing soft or not coming back to help his d-man ok, but missing the net. At least he was at the right place at the right time, contrarily to most players.

Ya know I have a lot of respect for Carbo....but my opinion is that Carbo has no or at least not enough balls when it comes to pulling the goalie....I dunno if any of you swicthed to the Vancouver : Toronto Game after ours ended.....but Carbo did not pull the goalie at any point during our power play starting at approximately 3 minutes to go ending at 1 min to go....where as Toronto pulled the goalie on a power play with approximately 4:30 mins to go when they were down 4:1....this really pisses me off....if your down by a goal(s) late in the game and you have a power play YOU PULL THE F@KIN GOALIE!!!!!WHY DOES CARBO ONLY WAIT TILL THERE IS NO TIME LEFT?????!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! ??!!??!?!!??!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!?!?!!?

I'm still horse after yelling into my computer to PULL THE GOALIE!!!!

I'll also point out that while Toronto did not win....they did get a goal on that 6 on 4 with the amount of guys on the ice they had...

I have to disagree with you on the Benching Veterans. Well not Kovalev atleast, he started the getting some confidence in the team in the third, started getting some shots on net. But we missed a couple chances, maybe Sergai Out?

2 more goals tonight for him (on 10 shots, almost as many as our whole team tonight), including the GWG with over a minute left in the game.

The Harlem Globetrotters impression (that didn't result in jack) was pretty cool...wasn't it?

No coach in the world can save the way Kovalev played that game. That was a brutal game by him. Holding the puck to long, taking bad shots, turning the puck over and the list goes on.

Koivu was wondering where his team of the last 10 years had went, after these last 5 games he welcomes them back.

Well, Koivu and Halak showed up.

Its time to shake up the lines. There is zero cohesion between anyone but Koivu and tanguay. Personally i'd try Kostitsyn up alongside those two. Honestly it cant get much worse. Those two are carry any winger with them anyhow.

Kovalev looks like two years ago. Selfish dipsy doodling play leading to turnovers. Pleks looks like the first half of two years ago. Perimeter player lacking fire.

Lang is the new Bonk. And the rest essentially passengers.

The shots were a waste of time. I'd bench Kovalev, he either asks for a trade or he comes back with pride. Either option I'm more than happy to oblige with.

our PP sucks, we need Streit.

Notice how no one is covering the point on our PPs anymore??? They all crowd around Kovalev making him less effective. They know no one on the Habs has a dangerous shot.

Seriously, Tanguay, Markov, S.Kost and Brisebois are all passers. None of them have a deadly shot.

Gainey is not looking outside, he has the material for the 100th year!
When Brisebois is in the lineup on the regular basis, it's very clear that we don't have the material.

It just appears we still aren't gritty enough to free up the offense. AK still floats around carefree, he needs to be replaced with a gritty winger. O'byrne has taken a step backwards, but whatever... the brains running the team see the obvious flaws in the team.

It'll be fixed, the season is young.

Yeah I noticed that too, well some of his shots were good. But, some were really not even directed properly and with no power at all! it was a joke for Biron.
