I'm all for promoting one or two guys. Guaranteed any bulldog would skate his ass off on both sides of the puck just to try and stay in the show. maybe it rubs off.
I think the only guy you might see called up is Weber for his PP talents.
D'Agostini is deserving since he's off to a solid start with his 11 goals and 18points in 15 games but there's a log jam among to the top 9. No way he comes up to play on the forth line. Unless a trade or injury D'Agostini will have to continue his hard work and be patient.
One other guy I can see getting a call up however is Stewart. He plays much like the vilan Lucic in bean town! He would be a smart call to play with Kostopoulos and Laraque. Holly **** that line would kill kill kill. The opposition will so messed up after seeing these 3 guys coming at them on a regular basis.

The thing is 11 goals in 15 games... What do you want more? This guy is definately NHL ready. If you've got to, make room for him, or use him to get something valuable. but this kid has to serve the team one way or another... We have too big of a hole on defense to do nothing.
The D did not look bad today at all. In fact Montreal's answer might be right there.
Gorges plays very well along side of Markov so leave him there.
Gorges Markov
O'Byrne Hamrlik
Weber Boullion (give Weber a shot on the PP while Komiserek is out)
i preached those pairing so much last year, it makes so much more sense, you have 2 puck movers and reliable D, and a complete shutdown pair in Komo and Hammer...

I'd like to point out a positive: as the players around him contine to dog it, Guillaume Latendresse has been trying pretty hard to make up the difference. He's not a Koivu kind of guy that can raise his whole line's play, but he's playing at 100% while others are not.
And his skating is way better than last year. This bodes well for later in the year when he won't be out of gas.
The lack of toughness has never really been adressed. Acquiring Laraque doesn't make the team, a "tough" team. Our top 6 forwards almost never hit. Lang and Sergei too. Only Lats on our top 9 forwards can hit.... and it's still not sure if he should be on the 3rd line or the 4th line.
We have been talking about this problem for years... and they acquire Laraque, this summer, to fix this problem . I'm sorry but we need to replace some players from the core. They are too similar. Acquire two guys that deliver some hits and who can play on the top 3 lines and I have no doubt that the the team would get better.
we need a power forward who can hit and skate and chip in with the odd goal here and there, and create energy off of hits and aggressive forechecking, kinda what weve been lacking for many many many years now. He has to be a top 6 forward and obviously lats cannot be that guy. A Lucic, Smyth type of player. Just something to add some grit on the first two lines.
I believe the whole team, including Carbo, thought this would be an easy regular season where everyone gets owned by their talent and Ole Ole behind them.
Markov - Komi
Hamrlik - Top 4 D-Man
Bouillon - Georges
Weber (for PP)
Price
Halak
The rest are traded.
The only thing that bothers me is that Carbo said: "If we wanted to trade Begin and Dandenault, we would've done so already" which means he plan to keep them
Love it... except ged rid of Lats and put in MaxPac

removing one the only top 9 forward of our team who hits ? the leader in hits of our team ? a guy who also is in the top 6 so far this season for the total number of points ? who's only 21 ? get rid of him ?

No, we have enough offensive depth; an offensive shooting #4 is what we need, someone like Mathieu Schneider would've been perfect IMO, for the season, but a bit of a big salary there.

At -11 in 12 games and only 4 points.
At 6 000 000$ i think we should pass.
I will rather get Hainsey
