I do not know about that....but they definitely need to work on their offensive game....even in games they have won it looks pretty bad.

The Kings played quite well through 2 and got a little sloppy in the third.

Whatever, delete it from the DVR and look forward to the Ducks tomorrow. The Kings should be well rested...

I thought they looked better offensively in respect to getting shots on the net tonight. Brown did not have his best game that is for sure, but overall there was much more drive to the net, picking up loose pucks and getting shots off. Ellis was a difficult guy in net when our offense tries to get something going.

Could see this coming a mile away. This team can never take that next step.

I love the way Murray is handing the defense but these lines are just horrible

Kyle Calder is killing the Kopitar line and the Kings #1 PP unit, he works hard and he is a good grinder, but he doesn't have the hands to play on a scoring line, he should be playing with Zues and Simmonds, he would be much better suited on that line. Put O'Sullivan up there, try Richardson, Boyle, call up Purcell it doesn't matter.

Flame away all you want, but Ivanans is killing his line also, does anyone else wonder why almost every other team we play doesn't dress a goon, its because the game is going away from the goons, yet Murray insists on sending him out every game, with our best defensive center no less. I really think a Calder- Zues- Simmonds line could be really work.

I was against it earlier in the year, but I think its probably time to try Sully up there again. See if they can click again... and even if you dont play them ES, for the love of god, put Sully back on the #1 PP unit atleast.

O'Sullivan - Kopitar - Brown
Frolov- Stoll - Moller
Calder - Handzus - Simmonds
Richardson - Boyle - Harrold

There was a lot of shots....but the vast majority were from poor scoring areas. I know that shots are good (I even yell shoot the puck at times)....but if they are from 40 feet out and there are 3 defenders waiting to get the rebound it is probably a wasted shot.

The reason Brown and Kopitar look so average is CALDER. Three times late in the third Calder lost the puck deep in the zone. Sully doesnt pass anymore likely because he is just as frustrated as they (brown and Kopitar) are.

Maybe we needed to lose a game for the coach to consider changing something and get this offense Jump-started. You can't blame ERSBERG for this loss, and Squid is right, scoring one goal a game you can not expect to win. PERIOD.

Memo to TM: The First Line needs Three (3) First Line players. AND CALDER IS NOT ONE OF THEM!

Matt Greene - I just don't see it. We gave up Lubo and a huge contract for this guy? I haven't been impressed by a single thing he's done this year. If it weren't for Goat-chay, he'd be the Kings worst d-man.

Today's shots looked more like QUANTITY and a lot less QUALITY.

I think Ellis made some pretty good saves. Yes there were some so/so shots but we need to get more pucks to the net, and we did improve there tonight. I was watching the preds station and they were giving our offense loads of praise over the first two periods. I think the Kings looked tired near the end and got sloppy.

Exactly....there were a couple of moments where the point guys were shooting left and right....but there were no Kings close enough to get tip ins or rebounds....so they just kept either hitting the boards, bouncing off defensemen or being saved by Ellis.

Dont put all the blame on Calder and Ivanans
the fact is that Frolov, Kopitar and Brown are all underperforming offensively

If it wasn't for Ersberg we would of probably lost this game by more than 2. He was solid!!! Hope they do something with the PP. It's so damn stagnant. Is LABS in net tomorrow??
