Mark Parrish...why wasn't he picked up?

First post....love this site

Anyways, I think he signed for 1 yr $500,000..played 5 games and has 3 ppg of the 4 he has scored. I know he was injured most of last year but he looks pretty good on ur pp. Scored a dandy deflection goal today. Is it that we have no room in the cap or Sather thinks that the rangers pp does not need help. Two 5 on 3 pp and no goals(0-6 total)...we need help

weve got too many players as it is, worst thing a team can do that already has a former 30 goal scorer on the bench is to sign another fringe 3rd liner.

If Sather had been interested in signing a veteran to help on the power play, he would have gone for Shanahan.

bingo. I found it ineresting that during tonights broadcast Joe was talking about how Sather almost signed wheeler. I think he could have been that last top 6 forward we needed.

Not sure I saw a top 6 forward in Wheeler tonight. He really didn't show much.

If he were a Ranger, he wouldn't have those stats... and he'd be the subject of several threads with the general idea of "Why did we sign this guy!?"

He'd also be boo'd at the Garden.
