Last night an ESPN program was discussing how the Detroit Pistons needed a hero citing the heroes on the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions and no mention of the Detroit Red Wings. All this despite the Red Wings probably being the most succesful team in Detroit right now.
I gotta go with Jeff Petry, the way he's anchoring things in Michigan State is impressive...
Although, I may have been wrong in my early assessments of JDD...I'm not totally convinced yet, and I won't be for some time...but my crow is currently defrosting it seems...
JDD is just the guy that everyone has heard about since he's had a few really good games...but he's not out top prospect. Some might argue that he's not even our best goalie prospect.
For me it's between Petry and Eberle. Just from what I've read I'd have to say Petry.
