I hate to beat a dead horse but Calder was straight up stripped of the puck twice that shift.

Hadzus has played a couple shifts with O'sullivan and that looks better.

There is no doubt that Calder is having a real bad game but the last 4 or 5 games he has played well. People around here have that "what have you done for me this minute" attitude.

I was just about to comment on that. It's a serious upgrade from O'Sullivan / Boyle

Lets get Simmonds on the ice with some aggression on is mind. I was really hoping to see some fights out of the guy or the Kings in general. Lets get the fight on boys.

Clearly overreaction by me. I apologize, but it is terribly hard to watch the futility of Kyle Calder being on the top line

Amazing how much better Handzus looks when he isn't towing the Ivanans anchor.

He has not. A win is a win but he hasn't done a dman thing points wise, with or without the puck. His playing style has been a detriment to his linemates.

Yeah our defense has improved. Big whoop. Our record is not better with the same amount of games than it was with Marc Crawford last year

Very simplitic to compare the standings from last season to this season. Our team is much better this year than last. If not for the Labarbara obsession, our record would be much better.

I agree with that, but we cant ignore the mind that thought that Labarbera was a legitimate choice over Ersberg

basically... if he is willing to make that decision, who knows what he will do?

Like keep Kyle Calder on the top line...

Sorry, I'm late to the party. How many games has Calder been with Kopitar & Brown?

O'Sullivan played with them for - 2 games, I think? - and he's been banished to playing with 2 defencemen since. I thought Murray was trying to send a message to O'Sullivan but there's sending a message, then there's being an idiot.

Everyone knows what the top line should be.

I believe Murray was trying to instill confidence in Labarbara to see if that got the best out of him. It didnt work. Cant fault the coach for trying to get the best from his players.
