Game over...I'm sure Labs will be back in net for the next game even though the Kings only have 1 goal in 2 games.

No this team is no better than last year. Remember when we were getting scored goals against us?

Now we cant score.

Whats the difference?

This team has 3 days off....there better be some massive changes to the forward lines and the PP, because right now its just not working, and this falls squarely on Terry Murray. It's his job to put the best possible lines out there and he is not.

Some ideas...

- Split up Brown and Kopitar
- Put Stoll back on the PP
- Put Boyle on a scoring line
- Send Calder and Ivanans for a long walk off a short pier.

Our shots per game is down a bunch, our PK is much improved, we have given up less goals and play a much grittier style of hockey. Our face-offs has improved greatly and we have defensive dman this year. We have been in every game except 2 and a majority of the games have gone down to the wire. Last year was just brutal.

In the same vein, last year we had more shots, our powerplay was better, and we were scoring more goals.

Dont talk about "close" games. A loss is a loss is a loss.

Last minute of the game and Murray throws O'Sullivan-Kopitar-Brown out there.

Well we didn't play with energy on the back to back games tonight. Lines do not seem to be working well. I am wondering where Moller is. Hopefully he is okay. Ersberg continues to be solid!!

Terry Murray has no clue on offense. This team isn't the slightest bit better than last year. Just a different way to lose. We suck.

He did the same thing last night, unfortunately Brown kind of ended that opportunity early

We'll go in circles and never convince each other. I believe defense wins hockey games. This year we just get our offense clicking and we'll be fine. Last year we had so many problems it was crazy.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just because people label Brown and Kopitar our best players doesn't mean they have to play with each other.... Time to experiment again TM...
Also, ERSBERG was still SOLID!!! Calder just can't get it done in the 1st line.. and Ivanans...

Hopefully, this game is the indicator to Murray that Calder needs to be replaced, preferrably by Sully, on the top line. There is absolutely zero chemistry now.

Some of you are the very definition of instant gratification.

A poorly played game it was not.

Last year, the team looked like swiss cheese. Goaltending, defensive coverage, faceoffs, neutral zone play, puck possession, scoring (yes, scoring), all of it and everything.

This season: scoring. That's it girls. That problem will be solved as well but the problem is only partially internal to the team.

This team reminds me of the Wild, but without a Gaborik type player.
