That team would be beyond terrible. At least throw in some of the best Russian and Euro league players.

Don't forget to bring in Radulov. He wants to show Malkin, Semin and Ovechkin who's boss.

Jim Fahey!!!!!

There's one player that should be on this list. Lyle Odelein. He's still got it, he's just a victim of numbers. Just like Bobby Ryan.

Any NHL team would destroy them. Unsigned for a reason.

Gamache is playing for SC Bern, Kasper and Perezhogin are playing in Russia, and I'm not 100% but I think Aebischer is playing in Switzerland as well.

Goalies to consider:

David Aebischer
Mike Wall
Robert Esche (I was impressed with him at the WHCs actually)
Johan Holmqvist (showed flashes of decency in Tampa)
Stephan Liv
Jussi Markkanen
Sergei Bobrovsky (he's undrafted, does he count?)
Pier-Olivier Pelletier
Tomas Popperle
Jocelyn Thibault
Yutaka Fukufugi

Esche and Bobrovsky are in Russia; Holmqvist and Liv are in Sweden; Aebischer is in Switzerland; Popperle is either in Switzerland or Germany, I think; Markkanen is in Finland. Otherwise, I'm pretty sure the rest are either unrestricted or are playing on AHL teams that I don't know about.

I know. Though, I considered players who are not signed with NHL teams because many players the OP mentionned are still playing in other leagues.

a top line of sundin jagr and forsberg would be good, not much "team" left after that on the open market

Most of those guys are under contract... And not too many of those would make a team with the best guys playing in europe.
