Option 1: Go to the store, get a new belt.

Option 3: Go to the store, get an aftermarket hoverpants module. Don't forget the flux capacitor, they're always sold separately.
In a desperate pinch, you can always wrap sock tape around your waist or fashion a belt out of skate laces. Neither is an effective long-term solution.
Suspenders kill my back. I tried them once since I had pants that the buckle would pop open on and the pants would be falling down and I'd have to skate with my legs pretty wide until I could get off the ice or there was a faceoff. Those were a pair of old a Bauer vapors, and I will never buy another pair with that type of buckle.
