See, that's my problem with the fire Carbo bandwagon right now. I'd be all for it if I thought there was a better coach available, but there aren't any.

People also forget that the Carbo they're bashing now (and the one they also bashed this time last year) is also the same Carbo who led the team to 1st overall in the East.

Kovalev was the reason why Claude Julien was fired, do you think he's gonna be the reason why Carbo COULD be fired?

It's not like he's the best option out there. There's a reason why he never has his name mentioned by anyone as a replacement...what's he even doing these days?

I would let Don Cherry coach this team instead of Carbonneau.

If it wasn't for Kovalev the game would have been 2-0 Carolina. Where the hell was the rest of the team?

There are so many other problems on this team that singling out Kovalev makes people look like idiots.

****!

Scrambling to cover up Kovalev's endless stream of turnovers.

Oh but he got an assist, so it's okay.

This would be good. C'mon, Alex - shake it off. Lead by example, and the team will follow. Get your old line back, and let's stop all this retarded line juggling.

You guys do realize he set up our ONLY goal tonight? Thank GOD he was there or else it would have been terrible. He was backchecking as well while his linemates were waiting for the outlet pass at the red line.

Tanguay's been looking horrible these past couple of games, why aren't we talking about that? So has most of the team.

I'm not saying he's been playing perfect hockey (he has had a LOT of turnovers), but calmez vous le ponpon (haha)

So how long does he get a flyer for that? He looks just like Alex Kovalev circa 2006-2007, and it's poison for our young players. Get his a$$ out.

Honestly though with the raises to Plekanec, Komisarek, Higgins, and trying to re-sign Koivu and Tanguay at about the same price would you want to give Kovalev a multi-year deal worth 5 mil+?

Balls to that.

So, he's got a free pass now? Apparently, that's what he thinks too.

I would rather watch a John McCain, Stephen Hawking, Ben Mulroney and Murphy Brown Bukkake, rip my own testicles off, draw pupils on them and shove them so hard up my own throat that they pop my eyes out and my testicles assume the position of my eyes. Than to ever watch Kovalev be the go to guy when we needing a tying goal late in the game.

If you think Kovalev is the problem with the team you are seriously clueless about the Habs.

He's one of the few guys that's a factor every night. His problem this year is nobody is finishing on the PP and teams are keying on him, plus Plekanec has been a ghost so far and Kostystyn got hurt then was slow regaining his form.

He had a beauty feed to Tanguay that was missed tonight.
