Dallas does not need Shanahan, I hope Hull isn't chasing him.

Defense, and only defense, is what this team should be focusing on.

His leverage is that he scored 23 goals on a team that had a 25 goal high for a leader, he's not as washed up as people believe, i don't know what Shanahan is demanding but if it's 1-1.5 and he hasn't been signed yet, that's puzzling to me.

He has more left in the tank than Recchi and Roberts yet he hasn't been signed yet, go figure.

Well, Addiction, I can't say I see that in the cards...I think the first priority is to clear space for legitimate NHLers like Neal and Fistric...Dallas already signed Mark Parrish, they got a big break in that Brunnstrom has been very good...I doubt they press their luck further in free agency...

Plus, their organization (as I try to document) is full of role players and potential role players...if they need something like that, I have to assume it would come from with in...

Shanahan probably isn't gonna take a miniscule salary that fits into tight Dallas' cap structure...

That sould not surprise anyone.

Our team has been killed with injuries. Crombeen is a better option then Koci, Regier or Paddock atleast. I'm glad he will be on the team.

The Blues are getting a decent player. He can skate, he's defensively aware and responsible, he'll fight and stick up for his teammates, and he showed that he could play with Modano during his time here, which is not exactly an easy task. The scoring touch doesn't exist yet, but that may come in time (probably not).

I like this addition. Has more offensive upside than most on the team. He can skate and just what we need, HE CAN FIGHT!

yeah I'm not sure exactly how much offensive upside Crombeen has..

The Blues just picked up a decent depth player, I guess it's always nice to get stuff for free....
