Tonight, it appears possible that Luongo isn't playing once again taking away this marquee matchup of 2 of the elite goalies in the NHL.
Luongo played for Florida in 05-06.

Gomez won't play again and Renney talks about letting the team play vs being too conservative. I'm glad to see he's trying to address the Ranger's slow starts to games.

Yes... yes he did... I wasn't thinking about that. I just looked at when we have played them and who was in net. My bad.

Anyway, we need to play an inspired first period. Let's jump on them early and often. Let's Go Rangers!!!

alright, last prediction I was pretty close. I was right with dru winning us the game and a 3-2 win. this game I am saying that it will be a 3-1 win for our Rangers. Naslund will show up his old team with a goal tonight, Korpi will notch another one and our last will be a empty netter from Dubs. Lundqvist will have a spectacular game in net and the only goal he will allow is from one of the Sedin brothers. Now that's my prediction for tonight's game, let's pick up the four in a row and LET'S GO RANGERS!

I want to see Henke best Luongo head to head, so I'm hoping for a 2-1 shootout win

Zherdev has had two four point games against the Nucks in the past, so he's had some success against them, hopefully that keeps up tonight.

4-1 Rangers win

Lulongo gets pulled after 3 and plays the next night vs the wild.

what do you mean by "again?" Luongo has struggled playing in the Garden throughout his career

Can't wait for tonight, I'll be in 413.

Looking forward to seeing a great goalie debut. I don't think I've actually ever seen Luongo in person, so it should be fun watching the 2 best goalies in the league at the moment. Hopefully Naslund shows some flashes of his golden years in Vancouver as well tonight.

With that said, 12-11 Canucks.

I think this will be a low-scoring affair, though that's not much of a prediction considering it's two low-scoring teams and two Vezina caliber goalies.

On the other hand, I'd love to see the low-scoring Rangers break out against Luongo. What a confidence booster that would be.

Rangers lose 7-6, Colton Orr with 5 PP goals -- but to no avail as the Sedin twins light Henrik up in the final 2 minutes for 7 unanswered goals.
